aaahh my friends v4 is glitched!

okay so whenever i try to fix it it is still the same.

the screen is like unable to see and there are 3 lines . so you can only see part of the tamagotchi..

how do i fix this without answering "put a new battery"

i already tried.

If there are 3 lines in the middle of the screen that isnt a problem which changing the battery could fix anyway.

It sounds like these are heat or pressure lines.

Which means, your friends Tamagotchi has either:

been left out in the sun too long, or under strong light or heat.

Someone has stepped, thrown or hit the screen with something, which may have caused the LCD screen to 'leak'.

They are the only two answers I could give you without seeing a picture of the Tamagotchi itself.

That happened to my friend Emily's hot pink Version 1. She accidently left it in her pocket of her jeans and it got thrown in the washing machine!!! Suprisingly, it survived!!!! However, there are three blank lines in the middle of the screen. I don't know if this is exactly what you are saying happened, but the first thing to do is to find out if anything "tramatic" happened like this. I spilled water on mine before, so I flipped it upside down with the back taken off so it could dry out. It worked. Sorry, that's all I got for ya. Maybe it will help.

my friend never takes care her tamagotchi well, she puts it in her back pocket on her backpack.

she destroyed her v2 bu throwing it into the air and letting it fall on the cement,she ruined her new v2's also(they were all scratched terribly by scissors in her backpack, and i had to tell her to give them to me better because she was not taking care of it anyways, then she bought 2 v3's (they were both translucent yellow) she first showed me one, then she was hiding the other in her backpack when it was still in the box, (that one was supposed to be mine cuz i gave her money to give me one), so, i said hey, why are you hiding that one, thehn she said, nooo!, i do not want you to have it because......... (now listen to this everyone) YOU do not take care of it well.

i said WHAT? i take care of tamagotchis WAY better than u do! then she handed it over to me i gave her 15.00 and said thanx,

so, yeah... now she has a v4 and she destroyed it by doing I DUNNO to it,

so heres the story 'bout her first v2 (first tamagotchi) when she lost it one day at school, i helped her find it, i then (so cool) i found it in the restroom, i gave it back to her and she said she did not want it back cuz she thinks (thought) I or someone else put a micro BOMB in it....

yeah people a BOMB!! h34r:

i feel so mean to say this but...... she is mental , don't laugh.... so, i try everything to prevent her from getting herself the new board game tamagotchi. SHE IS GONNA DESTROY IT

im still her friend now, she is a bit rude. but oh well.

did you try to debug it? cause i tryed debuging mine and ther are 2 blank lines. and my freinds got wet and there is 1 blank line.

Wow...

No offence but she is badder than my sister! My sister got a V2 about a year ago and already the A button doesn't work properly unless you press it hard with your nail...

I don't think she's a very good friend. I wouldn't be friends with her if I were you. A true friend wouldn't say: "You don't take care of tamagotchis well."

I'm guessing the best way is to take the battery out and back in. Then press the rest button, and everything should be fine!
