well me and my mates have tried 3 way connection with 3 version 4s and it worked and then we thought it would be fun to do five way connection so we tried it and it worked we were all playing the same game and it was very fun.

was it a 1 off or is it true

 
Connecting more than two tamagotchis can happen, but it sends a duplicate of your tamagotchi round, and some people don't like the thought of that. (Sometimes, your tamagotchi can both lose and win a game on different screens and not get points, or more hearts do down) It's not a one off, I can assure you, but it's not as good as sticking to the two-way connection. :p

I think you can do it with any Tamagotchi version, because all versions connect with a 2-way connection so why not with a three? ;)
