Memetchi: me means eye, so Memetchi refers to its eyes
Hanatchi: hana means nose, but also means flower. This is a reference to its allergies AND its cute nose!
Gozarutchi: gozaru means "to be"...??
Nazotchi: nazo means riddle, puzzle, enigma
Kinakomotchi: kinkomotchi means mochi (rice cake) rolled in soybean powder. It inflates when heated. This is why Kinakomotchi's head inflates when it's angry!
Some V2 characters:
Puchitchi/Shiropuchitchi: puchi means small, shiro means white
Kuribotchi: kuri means chestnut! (not poop!)
Hinatchi: hina means young bird or chick
ChoHimetchi: Cho means to be profitable, and Hime means princess. This refers to the crown on her head.
Puroperatchi: puropera means propeller

Debatchi: deba means overbite
Weird!! The Angelgotchi character Futagotenshi (the only twin character) literally means "two angels". How fitting!
