Is it rare, and did I take good care of it? In other words, is it a healthy and/or rare tama?

No.. a Maidtchi is not rare. The only rare tamas on a V4 are the special adults: Makiko, Tensaitchi, & Nonbiritchi.

The V4 character Maidtchi is said to come from bad care and it is not rare. Just enjoy it while it lasts and don't worry about all that good and bad rare or not rare character junk.
