theres lots of understandings about batteries but the most important one is never ever take a battery out before it is dead or else you'll kill your tamagotchi. And when i say you'll kill your tamagotchi i mean the whole system will die down.and then you'll feel frustrated.

Why yes, your tamagotchi will shut down after you take out the batteries...
...until you put them back in again.
...until you put them back in again.

You couldn't get it back together after taking the batteries out? Are you sure you were taking the batteries out, and not something on the motherboard critical to the functioning of the tam? The batteries should be easy to take in and out... I have taken the batteries out of my v3 and my Morino while they were still alive, and they both work fine.its true i took mine out before it was dead and now when i take and do all the stuff you said you can't get it back together so thats why you never do that and i'v experienced it so i'm right.
