I'm quite sure that is a costume. If you put it on your tama, it will look very different. I forget when the costume comes off, but it does eventually. (When it goes to bed, I think?)
I think you should do whatever you find the most interesting to you. If you're not very interested in the project, it might not come out very good.

Haha, I drew a bunch of tamas once. In general, they are very round-ish and simple. Take a look at all the pictures that other people do. Maybe you could also take a look at those new Youtube episodes about tamagotchis, they look really cute. :lol:
