Not sure if this is the right category to post this in, but is there any way to change your username on this forum? I just realized that I’m not comfortable having my real name here :P
A while ago, I bought 2 used Tamagotchi Connections at a pawn shop. They worked just fine, but the battery cover screw was corroded in both of them:
I searched the internet for ways to remove the corrosion. Some people would even use ketchup, but the most effective way was letting the...
I have a pretty long wishlist:
1. A UFO tamawalkie
2. A Purple Tubes V4.5
3. A Blue Arukotchi (I really like pedometer tamas :P)
4. A Green ID L
5. An Orange Akai
6. A Melon Soda Keitai
7. A Pink Uratama
(Sorry for not providing images, I don't have enough time at the moment to publish them)
I think the rainbowy screen is just a weird light illusion, because I've seen it on all my Tamagotchis but only when they're near a direct light source.
Basically what Iamtamagotchi said. It's not an icon that you can select, rather it lights up when your tamagotchi needs attention so you can check it even if your sound is turned off or if you didn't hear its calls.
Thanks for the info! I really hope this battery comes with my Akai, because I think it's a really cute "souvenir" and I might even put it on a photo frame along with some other Tamagotchi components :ichigotchi:
So, I was just looking at the Tamagotchi Wiki page about battery sizes and found this image of a special Maxell CR2032 battery that has a photo of Mametchi etched on it. What I need to know is: Was this battery the one supplied with Japanese Tamagotchi Plus models in the box, or was it sold...
Hmm, it seems interesting that it also happened with a CR2032 battery, my first assumption was that the battery discharged below the voltage level that the Tamagotchi expected because it had less capacity (CR2025) but apparently it can happen with any type of battery, maybe because of other...
Update #2: I wasn't expecting this to happen, but the Tamagotchi gods seemed to want me to try this experiment again, because the CR2025 battery I had on my V4 caused the screen to blank out one day. However, when I took off the cover and slightly adjusted the battery, it turned back on, so I...
Update: I tried this experiment with the same V3 (however, this time with a regular CR2032 battery) and some interesting stuff happened.
But first, I have to get out of the way that "tilting" the battery while it was on the "CONNECT" screen did absolutely nothing. If you did it too fast...
