Thanks all for the advise. My tama has been acting perfectly since, I just evolved into a Mametchi this morning..whoohoo.

It looked liked the egg that you begin with, almost like a new egg was about to hatch and then it went back to my normal character. Things have been fine again so far.

I just received my very first tamagotchi yesterday and so far so good. Today something weird happened...I was playing 'bump' when my hotodetchi turned back into an egg for about 2 minutes and then went back to normal. Has this ever happened to you?
