try checking the back of the cover.... if they put there BANDAI,WIZ 2004... BANDAI 2004... MADE IN CHINA, it means it's real!!

oh yea.... and your tama aso can fall while playin the ball.... if it fails, it will fall... and u may see your tama droping on to the floor.... so maybe you see wrong...
