If I leave my tama in my backpack, I feed it alot, but my little sister has our mom (no expert) baby sit it. What should I do?!

:D All my tamagotchis have only lived to be around 6 years old. I've seen something my friend brought to school about tamagotchis living 99 years!!!!!! I've tried everything to make them healthy, but they keep dieing!!!!!!!!

:D mines only lived up 2 10. Any advice to make it live longer?
