I dont think it is. The trademark is pretty much the etched logo at the top.

I doubt its real. Ive never seen a tamagotchi like that. And Ive went to japan. And still, they dont look like that at all.

I saw more people with Tamagotchi's BEFORE the connection. Im a 14 year old male, and I carry around a tamagotchi with pride. Raise your hands if youve ever seen THAT in public. :lol:

I just bought a v4 tonight. I have every version of the connection so far, and 2 old old tamagotchis, v2. Ive yet to obtain the first tamagotchi version ever.. My birthdays in 4 days... :lol:

Those remind me of the old Tamagotchis, with the pink logo at the top. Thats really cute, I just bought a yellow v4 with numbers all over it, and a red logo at the top. Ill put that one on my wishlist... :rolleyes:
