The Morino is one of my all time-favourites. Mesu and Osu pair is fun too and even the original Gen1/Gen2 stuff. I haven't gotten around to grabbing an english ID L but looks like fun, same with Devilgotchi and Santaclautchi.

If the screen gets distorted when you push the buttons its quite possible you may need to retighten the 4 screws under the battery cover.

There is a capacitor inside which may have leaked or gotten weak. This can affect the sound to be very quiet. The phenomenon is pretty typical on Sega Game Gears as well. If you are to replace it you will need soldering skills.

This time around I got the twins/FutagoAritchi wasn't trying to go for it but basically got them to about 43mg then when it hibernated kept it warmish temp until bed time then let it stay on hot, when i woke up set it to cool to get it near warm temp again and they evolved into the twins character.
