Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman - Good Omens It's basically a parody on The Omen, but it's so ridiculously good! I think I've read it about 15 times now. Röde Orm (or Red Orm) by Frans Gunnar is also an awesome book.

Definitely a book you should read. I didn't find the timeskipping hard to keep track of, I found it quite original and interesting. It's very refreshing to read.
