My favorite is the V4.5 because it has alot of new features, and the designs are really cute. It's also the last normal tamagotchi before all the familitchis, music stars and tama go were released :(

Hmmm, I have mixed opinions on this one.. Although I would never smash a Tamagotchi (They are getting quite exspensive), I don't really care if my Tamagotchi dies (or if I let him die); because afterall, they are only virtual pets.
