I think it's okay. I bought mine for 28.00 from Toys R us too, and my buttons work okay. maybe you just have to predd it either: lighter, harder, press the bottom of the button only.. top only.. try experimenting. My buttons dont always work well, but I just wait a bit and it's back to normal...

im pretty sure all of that is normal all tamas always dance around the room unless your in the bathroom or somethin and it takes quite a while and quite alot of good training to get it potty trained Thanks! But I still dont know what the dance looks like D:
