A care miss happens when you neglect the calling of your tama. To be able to obtain a specific tomo you want, you need to intentionally neglect it. The charts tell how many times a tomo needs to get care misses.

Are you using an english iDL? It's quite strange too, mine also got some birthday decors up. I set my clock to 7:29 and Agetchi showed up. Or was it Perotchi?? Lol, not sure. Supposedly Agetchi's bday is May 9 and Perotchi's is March 14. Maybe another english idl change

Maybe you should try to take note of the times when it happen, and a brief description of where it happens or what were you doing when it happened, anything that may cause it to malfunction. You never know there might be some kind of pattern.
