Welcome. I got the V6 music star. I grew up with a generic tama called Octogotchi. It was 8 pets in one. I like any of the classic styles that can be paused, V3 and up but I'm not into tamatown or any of the imports and the ones that don't use cell batteries.

Nice to meet you here. I'm just getting back into Tamagotchis also. I got the V6 and bought a V6 Music Star for my friend also as a friendship charm instead of the broken heart halves. I grew up with a generic one, Octogotchi, so this is my first name brand virtual pet.

I like your signature. Haha. The AAA blows my mind too. You have every generation that can be paused running except V6.

Thanks so much for the information. I kind of guessed the rhinestones wouldn't stay just because it appears to be a silicon case. Those aren't very good for gripping most adhesives. They do hold Sharpie markers well though and I was thinking about drawing my own design on the silicon case.

I wonder if you can buy a cheap Tamagotchi and replace the plastic screen cover or maybe put the guts in a new shell. I know you can replace the paper background with your own.

Yes . . . sort of . . . it wasn't a Tamagotchi because I grew up in a super poor family. I knew a whole bunch of other kids had one or a GigaPet. I really wanted one too and fortunately I was able to get a knockoff at the dollar store. It was heart shaped but had 8 different pets to choose from...

Are there cheat codes for V6? I've found some for V4 but not V6. I don't understand the context you'd use them for either. Which menu would you enter the cheat code?

I just ordered my first Tamagotchi and it's a V6. It was cheaper to get a brand new V6 than it was to get a used V3 or V4(.5). How do you like the V6? It seems like it's the least popular so I've been wondering if I made a good choice or not. I ordered the same style, btw.

What is everyone's general opinion of the V6 Music Stars? It seems to be the red-headed stepchild of the Tamagotchi pets. I just ordered my first Tamagotchi and it's a V6 because they were cheaper new in the box than the V3 or V4 used with no box. Any thoughts?
