I just found out something very helpful about mini tamagotchis. To know if they are hungry (or need anything in general) you can press the 'c' button. If they are hungry, a little swirly thing will appear next to them.

I have only been caught once with my tamagotchi (and my teacher was ok with it if I only brought it out between class, but I still brought it out in class anyway, but I never disrupted class lol!). Sometimes I just keep it in my backpack, or my locker. Keeping it in your pocket works well, too!
