For the first tip it's because after your Tamagotchi reaches its minimum weight, it won't play. Once you feed it, you get it heavy, and it will play.

I heard you basically have to put it on the verge of death, which is practically no eating or happiness...but I don't suggest it. I haven't tried it yet, either. But if you just like 'looking' at it. Ask a V2 version friend to connect with you when it has a character V3 doesn't have. You'll see...

The shop changes at 3:00pm, 7:00pm, and midnight. If you want to change your shop, change the clock to one minute before the shop changes, and then you can go check it. (It won't work for the midnight one, because your Tama will be sleeping) You can exchange presents, but not prewrapped ones. I...

You can't really potty train it...not exactly. But if your Tamagotchi character is jiggling, with wiggly lines around it, press the the toilet button, and instead of cleaning the 'poo' it'll sit on a toilet, and then there's that litle victory dance thing...hehe! But no training points...

Tamagotchi V3 are like...the latest thing, and almost all the kids have them hanging around their necks. Most teachers let us keep it there if it doesn't distract us.

The genie is random, sort of the like the chest. SOmetimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. Once I got 9000 points, and the other time, thunder storm. It can be both good and bad.

Well, it also depends how long you're willing to play, and its difficulty. I'm a newbie too, but I've learned that. You get over 1000 points on Bump, if you win. But it takes a while to get to level 9, and to actually win all of them isn't as easy as it looks...

Oh wait...I should add to that. Despite the fact that it didn't work when I preset it, it did work before, when I had a Gozarutchi (Adult) So yes, it does work on V3 Connection...but not always at that precise time. It's actually quite cute. LOL! :rolleyes:

My Tamagotchi is a Piropiroritchi. (It's a teen) It didn't work.

Gozarutchi Sleeping Time: 10:15 Waking Time: 10:00 Yes...it's very annoying...I try playing with it...and yet darn, it's not awake, and yet I'm asleep, and it's still awake...LOL!
