I actually thought this was a very good idea- the trick doesn't harm other devices and both parties are happy! The other person got the genes they wanted and the person who didn't go through with the connection can keep searching for the genes they want while making other people happy. I don't really see any reason to stop this? Unless of course they're a mymeets user, but majority of them have been kicked off the app and you can check for corrupted data by looking through the family trees (eg tamas without eyes, black blobs etc)

Welp, I just figured out I made a mistake! Tarakotchi is the average care character, not the worst! I fixed that in this one! Sorry!!

I’ve compiled a work-in-progress list of changes made between the ON and the Meets tamas. Contributions from ON owners are appreciated, and the list will update. The list will only include major/semi-major changes made, including character/land names and functionality changes. Here’s what I have so far... - English language (most obvious change) -Screw instead of push-button (again, obvious change) -No M!x connection -Livings being renamed to Rooms -Friendship meter horizontal and shows stars instead of words (needs clarification) -Gourmet Street renamed to Food Town (needs clarification) -Tama Depa renamed to Store/Shop or something similar (although the sprite still reads “tama depa” on the sign) This is all I have so far, but if you have an ON and can tell me more changes, that would be greatly appreciated. (Asking since I don’t have one of my own yet, and cannot check myself.)

From what I understand it will. Be late July when its released, so about the same time as the previous ON launch. Yes! This for sure was the same one! However there was no images but the description was TURQUOISE and LAVENDER, which is the same as the other 2 fantasy meets! But where I work doesn't always get up to date info, and the fact there was no preorder date was concerning so it may be a upcoming announcement soon or a delay. I'll keep yall posted since I dont get many shifts due to COVID-19

Doing a second update for the day so that I can get most of my future updates around the same time. Played enough of the 3rd game so that her 3rd stat (not sure what exactly it's called on the UraTama) is now 110. The idea of a tamagotchi without arms karate chopping planks with a human hand was so humorous to me I had to draw this Anyway that's all for today see you all tomorrow!

Fun fact, I haven't seen another human in over a week. Fortunately, I find that to be a total win!

    Haven't seen anyone talking about it yet so thought I'd make a post Anyone seen the new tamagotchi yet? It's coming out in late November and it seems to have a diamond kind of thing at the top. Would consider buying it if i wasn't broke lol,,, recently just bought a tama on + I'm a student with no income so I'll have to save up again ;_;

@KidRetro64 already mentioned this on their profile, but this is what Bandai Namco US posted on Twitter before the weekend. It’s to celebrate Pac-Man’s 40th anniversary. Hope it comes to Europe as well. Would be a bit disappointing if it was just yet another Tamagotchi Nano version (with Pac-Man instead of Gudetama or Eevee), but either way, I am very excited for its unveiling! Come to think of it, the Tamagotchi Mame Game hardware was used for Pac-Man once.

For a few months now I've been working on projects outside of Tamagotchi and so I haven't really been thinking about Tamagotchi a great deal. One thing that always pulls me back, though? Tamatown. Cracking passwords was so 2019. Let's take a look at what made Tamatown what it was, and where it is today. For the purposes of this post I'll mainly be covering the V3/4 Tamatowns since that's where most is lost, but I will be covering other Tamatown variants in upcoming posts. I'm sure I don't really need to introduce Tamatown to many of the users here, but perhaps it would be worth some context regardless. What was Tamatown? Tamatown was an online Flash game first launched in 2006 alongside the Tamagotchi Connection V3. Future Tamagotchi versions would also get their own respective "Tamatowns", with the V4 version being an updated variant of the V3 Tamatown, the V5 Tamatown being an entirely different game called the "Tama and Earth Expo" and the Music Star Tamatown being a mass-multiplayer online game called Music City. Music City later got renamed to "Tamatown" once again upon the release of the Tamatown Tama-Go. The Japanese versions also received their own versions of Tamatown. The Entama, released in 2005, had a game similar to Tamatown V3 often called e-Tamago. The Uratama had a variant of this website called "Uratamatown", and the Tamasuku had its own online world, too. Many of the games on the international sites were translations of games from the Japanese site. What happened to Tamatown? Beginning in 2012, the Tamatown servers started to faulter and die. People found that the website had been down for months with apparently no recovery in sight. This was confirmed to be the case in February 2013 when it was officially confirmed that all versions of Tamatown would be going down for good. The only remnant of Tamatown that was left was a game on new.tamatown.com replacing Music City - a language selection screen. Selecting English or Spanish would take you to the shutdown page, while clicking Portuguese would... uh, take you to a Portuguese translation of one of the games. I don't know why. I'm assuming the Tama-Go still had a market presence in Brazil or something. The V3 and V4 Tamatowns actually stayed up for quite a bit longer in Europe. They would eventually shut down on the European website some time in June - July 2013. That extra time allowed some of the files to be archived... but not many. Where was Tamatown? This might seem like a silly question. Clearly, Tamatown was found on tamatown.com, right? Curiously, there were actually multiple different domains that Tamatown occupied, and all of them have to be checked in order to comprehensively search for the files. European regions used www.tamagotchieurope.com, but the truth is that there was actually a second address - www.tamagotchi.eu. If you go to that address now - as of writing this post - you still get the thank you message that was left behind when the site shut down. The US is a slightly more complicated case: The site originally started at both www.tamatown.com and www.tamagotchitown.com When the V4 came along the two Tamatown versions were split off into v3.tamatown.com and v4.tamatown.com The V6/7 Tamatown used the amusing address new.tamatown.com After it shutdown, what was left was moved to bandai.com/tamagotchi/new Being an international version, the V5 Tamatown was stored at a different address, too. What remains of Tamatown? Sadly, not a lot. Here's a list of the most important Tamatown files (swf and mp3) for which we have some archived record of on the Wayback Machine, for the V3/4 Tamatowns: File Version Language Notes Archive Link tama_shell.swf V3 US Loader. I do know for a fact that the Tamatown theme uses an identical file across both versions of the site so I'm assuming the rest of the audio files do too. These files were recovered across several different variants of the site so it's a bit patchwork in places. If one were to reconstruct Tamatown as several have done in the past, they'd find that one minute everything is in English and the next minute they're in a German shopping mall. And entering the clothes shop is strictly forbidden.A few of these files are It should be noted that the Japanese sites, including the V5 website, are significantly better archived to the extent that they can be almost entirely recovered. Some of the games are close matches for the English games, too. What is lost? A lot. A lot. So much. This may not even be all the lost files. I've only listed files that were known to exist here. There is almost certainly more. The ones marked in purple are files that I'm not even sure existed in the first place since there's far too little that is still known. On top of these there's a tonne of lost character swfs that would've been used to display different characters. I won't list them here because there's hundreds of them spanning across each Tamatown version. There's also a countless number of versions for each swf file - updates, alternate language versions, low bandwidth versions and the like. What about those Tamatown revivals? Some confusion I've seen with regard to Tamatown is the extent to which they can be "revived". Certainly, there's been attempts at reviving the site in the past, and some of them were pretty good - what people often misunderstand, though, is that none of these revivals were able to recover anything that was already lost. Tama-Palace in particular wrote several articles hyping up loociano's revival as though it'd only be a matter of weeks before Tamatown was completely up any running again, but the fact of the matter was that the only files he was hosting were ones that had already been archived. There has been some luck in replacing the lost games with ones from the Japanese sites but... they're not exactly the same? There's missing music, missing functionality and a number of locations were never on the Japanese sites. Essentially, attempting to truly revive Tamatown would mean finding a way to recover the lost files. Where do we go from here? I think there's three main approaches that we can take to archiving the history of Tamatown, and none of them are going to be particularly easy. Web archives All the Tamatown files from the domains I mentioned above have been covered, and as far as I know, there aren't any more. If other archiving sites were around back then and they've made their own archives, then we may get lucky, but as far as I can tell the only archives that exist are the ones we're aware of. Essentially, I wouldn't waste time looking for more archived files online. They just aren't out there. Saved files One obvious way to approach the matter is just to find people that actually saved some of the Tamatown files. Problem is, not only are these people already few and far between, but they would've saved them on computers they owned around a decade ago if not longer - computers that may not even exist anymore, let alone work - and these people are most likely not into Tamagotchi anymore, and certainly aren't lurking on a forum site they might have considered frequenting 14 years ago. What is known, though, is that there are people who downloaded some of the files. While I'm not so sure how many people would've downloaded the swf files, there certainly was discussion about some of the character swfs from later Tamatown variants and also how to download the music from the site. It is entirely possible that a good number of people would have done that back in the day, so if anyone reading this post just happened to have downloaded any of the music files from that era (or, indeed, the swfs) then perhaps you might want to seek out those files. Cached files A last ditch effort which I've heard might be effective is looking in old PC cache data to find the missing files. Some versions of Internet Explorer had a habit of not clearing their "Temporary Internet Files" folder so it would get crammed full of junk from tonnes of websites. Allegedly swf and mp3 files were amongst those that would've been cached. Making life a little bit harder, these files wouldn't have been named correctly (and likely had seemingly random filenames) and may have even had their file extensions totally removed, too. I wasn't aware of this when I looked through an old PC for these files before, so I may just have to look again. In essence? One potential solution would be to dig out an old PC that used Internet Explorer to access the website a number of times, find the Temporary Internet Files folder (I may provide a better tutorial of how to do this in the future because I recall guides online not being all that helpful, you may have to go to the folder directly instead of by moving through different folders. I think there may be multiple folders with this name, too.), copy its content elsewhere and try changing the extensions of extensionless files to mp3 or swf to see how programs that can run these file formats interact with them and determining if any are the lost Tamatown files. What exactly is my point in posting this? I don't know, something between heightening awareness and calling to action, I suppose. I truly believe it's possible to recover at least some of the lost files, so I think broadening the range of people that know how to help can only be a positive thing. I'll continue to post updates and findings as they come and - in the event I do find anything - I will of course be archiving the materials and putting it all here. If anyone would like to help in this endeavour - even if it ends up being fruitless - sharing it with other people that used Tamatown during its height would be extremely helpful. And if you're a bit techy and still own any of those old PCs you once played Tamatown on, then hopefully I've given you something to do whilst bored in lockdown

Hello everyone. This is gonna be a quick one. You may experience some downtime on the sites for the next few days, but there is no need to worry about it. I am going to organize the sites a little better and reconfigure some stuff on the server for your convenience. That's all. Cheers!

Excellent post - just what I like to see! There was that showing at the New York Toy Fair earlier in the year, which this would line up with, right?

Hey everybody! I thought it'd be fun to initiate a hatch where we run our favorite tamagotchi(s)! This allows for you to show off your favorite(s) through logging about them. I'm expecting there to be lots of variety since everyone's tastes are different, meaning some might finish logging sooner than others depending on the version(s) they use. I'm planning to only have this hatch last for 1 generation, unless y'all want to continue past that! Let me know The rules are simple. The hatch will begin on Sunday, May 17th. There's no specific time that you have to hatch at due to differences in time zones. Pictures are optional, but I recommend them! You can begin on any generation, no need to do a full reset unless you want. As long as you start with a baby and update us when you can, you're all good! As for what version you hatch, it's all up to you! It can be your favorite shell, a version with your favorite character, an old favorite, all-time favorite, current/recent favorite, etc.! As long as it's a tamagotchi, that's all that matters. Feel free to hatch multiple favorites if you want. Not everyone can just choose one, lol! So start thinking about which tamagotchi(s) you love most! I have a lot of favorites, so it'll take some thinking for me. I'll keep you posted on what version I decide to hatch when the time comes

Hey look, it's hwd45 again. I wonder what weird topic he's starting this time? I think I'll have to start this with a bit of a disclaimer - I do not know the full extent of the procedure I'm showing off. As such, I cannot guarantee that this will not cause permanent damage to your device, though I do think it's likely that permanent damage is not something that can be attained via these glitches. Regardless, if you do choose to experiment with these glitches, be aware that at the very least you will likely lose your save data. I'm performing these glitches on a pre-owned device that I bought purely for experimental purposes. A few years back someone uploaded a video simply titled "Tamagotchi Glitches" showing some utterly bizarre behaviour that I've never seen from a Tamagotchi before. Another user uploaded a similar video using a Spanish V2. According to the first video, the following process was used in obtaining these glitches: I was not entirely sure what this meant at first, but it turns out that the "slide the battery in and out" is the most important part - the rest seems to be entirely irrelevant. From my own personal experiments it seems like it's harder to get exciting things to happen on screens with a low refresh rate - screens which aren't constantly updating - but pretty much any screen can be used to interesting results. Screens like the idle screen and the health menu have low refresh rates and the battery can actually be taken out for several seconds before the screen fades and it shuts down, whereas the shop screens and the transition to and from the clock screen have an incredibly high refresh rate and the device runs out of battery almost immediately when the battery is removed on these screens. Some screens seem to include more of a danger factor - attempting these glitches on the shopkeeper screen oddly seems to fully reset my device most of the time. What's so exciting about these glitches? Well, what appealed most about them to me was their ability to present the player with content you wouldn't see under normal conditions. Unused items? Unused games? Some utterly bizarre pseudo-characters that emerge from the device using the wrong sprite offset for your character? It's all here. Let's go over some of the exciting things seen in the videos, as well as some of the glitches I've been able to personally replicate. The Character -> Item Glitch One of the glitches I've not managed to reproduce is a glitch which replaces each sprite of your character's animation with an item. Since most of the items shown are V1 items (and hence items with a low item ID value) it stands to reason that the item that's shown seems to represent the ID value of the sprite that's shown. Here's a table: Sprite Item ID Idle 1 BALL 0 Idle 2 PENCIL 1 Happy WIG 2 Mouth closed SUNGLASSES 3 Mouth open TOOLS 4 Eyes closed SKATEBOARD 5 Back turned WEIGHTS 6 No RACQUETS 7 Angry CAPE 8 Sad BOW 9 Running 1 BOOTS 11 Running 2 CAP 12 Fallen over BOW TIE 13 Sitting mouth closed WINGS 14 Sitting mouth open HAIR GEL 15 Close-up close 1 SUNDAE 22 Close-up close 2 MILK 23 Favourite food ENERGY DRINK 52 Close-up mid Poo ?? Tooth brushing (1?/2?) Present Ice Cream ?? I'd like to continue gathering information on these sprites so I can work towards a more complete list of item IDs and sprite IDs. The Character -> Egg Glitch Similar to above - the sprites used for the character are now egg sprites. There's only four egg sprites, though, so after a certain point Petitchi sprites are used instead, but all offset by four. These can be used in conjunction with the item glitch above to figure out item IDs, since we know the difference between the ID of the sprite that is supposed to be shown and the ID of the sprite that is actually shown is four. Here's a table: Sprite Egg / Petitchi Sprite ID Idle 1 Egg 1 0 Idle 2 Egg 2 1 Happy Egg hatch M 2 Mouth closed Egg hatch F 3 Mouth open Idle 1 4 Eyes closed Idle 2 5 No Mouth closed 7 Angry Mouth open 8 The Egg -> Violetchi Glitch One glitch I've successfully performed that wasn't shown in the video was a similar glitch to the above, but instead of a character changing to an egg, the egg changed to have a character's sprite. That's about it, haha. Unused sprites? A few images of the V2 show content which is either never seen under normal conditions or only seen later on the V3. Could they have swapped the shells half way through the video? Perhaps. But it's certainly interesting and worth investigating. And I really have no idea what that "TRY?" menu might do, but I have been able to glitch into random menus using these glitches a few times, so it's possible that this could reveal some hidden functionality or something. The Rebirth Glitch This was a glitch I definitely wasn't expecting. Sometimes, messing with the battery will cause your Tamagotchi to revert back to an egg - this isn't quite the same as a full restart since it doesn't ask you to re-enter the time and date, but bizarrely, it seems to totally randomise the time and date, even to the extent of changing the clock to impossible dates like the 64th of April. The name of your character is also sometimes preserved, but it's usually randomised - this can even mean some of the characters changing to hiragana, like what was seen in the video. Several times I've also encountered glitch characters which will eventually change back to a hiragana character if you scroll far enough, and doing so seems to also change the character to the right of it, too. Very weird. Sometimes, after hatching, another glitch will have taken hold too: The Ball Glitch It's somewhat infamous at this point, but the ball glitch is a glitch which absolutely floods your item and food lists with balls. Occasionally other items end up in there too, but balls are the common denominator. This can go way beyond the 32 item limit and even go over 100, causing the number in the corner of the screen to behave strangely. What happens if you eat one of the non-food items? I wasn't really expecting this to happen, but weirdly, the animation for the standard meal that babies and children eat on the V1 (versions 0.0 - 2.4; or in other words, all the non-American devices) is shown instead. This item isn't seen anywhere else on the V2! My shop also filled with balls. Speaking of the shop, Glitch Items I'm not sure how I pulled it off but I managed to get all the shop items to change to glitch items. And they *stayed* that way, even after changing the battery. I tried buying a couple to see what they did but I couldn't use them as my character was still a baby. The sprites consisted of segments of text taken from the names of other items. Here are the items, and some interesting data to go with them: No. Sprite Price Notes 1 AB 800p Matches price of item ID 3, sprite resembles CRAB (ID ??) 2 K 1000p Matches price of item ID 2, sprite resembles MILK (ID 23) 3 AIT 110p Matches price of item ID 1, sprite resembles PARFAIT (ID 22) 4 ET 200p Matches price of item ID 0, sprite resembles OMELET (ID 21) One interesting side-effect of these sprites being based on the names of other items is that in later variants of the V2 the item names changed and so some of these sprites would change, too. I sent one of the items over to another V2 but curiously it just arrived as one of the standard gift ice creams. I've no idea why. So far the items have been otherwise unusable but it's possible that they'll be usable once my character reaches adulthood. There's definitely some sort of pattern in the data for each of the glitch items. Not only do the item prices match four consecutive items, but the names for each of the items seem to be the same glitchy mess, but shifted along by three pixels to the left for each consecutive item. Three of the small text fragments in the icons seem to match three items known to have consecutive ID numbers, too (as seen above, OMELET, PARFAIT and MILK have consecutive IDs). It stands to reason that CRAB might have an ID of 24 - the only other item ending in "AB" is KEBAB (which was called BBQ on later devices) but this one already has a known ID of 33. This actually aligns with some other known information about the V2 - the food items that are given by Deka characters. Here are the IDs of the Deka characters: ID Character 23 Omuratchi 24 Capsuletchi 25 Tamagotchi 26 Tsutatchi 27 Burgertchi 28 Denpatchi 29 Maikutchi And here are the food items given by each, as well as the ID of that item: Char ID Character Item Item ID 23 Omuratchi OMELET 21 SUNDAE 22 24 Capsuletchi MILK 23 CRAB 24? 25 Tamagotchi FRIED EGGS ?? BANANAS 26 26 Tsutatchi CHERRIES 27 PEANUT ?? 27 Burgertchi BURGER 29 FRIES 30 This can be used as further proof of several item's ID numbers - FRIED EGGS goes in slot 25 and PEANUT in 28. Denpatchi and Maikutchi's items can probably be used to determine more item IDs too, but I'm not sure what items they send to the V2. If you're wondering why the Deka characters give such a strange array of items, it's because the items they give on the V1 actually make some sort of sense, but the IDs used by these items were overwritten by different items on the V2. Anyway, that's enough of that small tangent. This is all I've got for now, but I'll continue to update as I find more interesting glitches! It's fascinating that using glitches like these can give us such an insight into how Tamagotchis work, and I've still got my fingers crossed that I'll eventually obtain a more interesting unused item via these methods.

It depends on the type of evolution; care only affects child-to-teen evolution. Care has no effect on teen-to-adult evolution within the three main family groups (Ura Mame, Ura Meme, and Ura Kuchi). You could give an Ura Young Mametchi horrendous care and it would still evolve into an Ura Mame adult. In the Universal family, it's the opposite. Teen-to-adult evolution in that family is seemingly based on care, and skill points have no effect there at all. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how it works, though (it's tough because the Universal family is very difficult to obtain ). Side tangent: child-to-teen evolution isn't just based on care, it's also based on what the child character is; for example, KuchiTamatchi and Hitodetchi evolve into Kujakutchi and Ura Young Violetchi with sub-par care, but Kuribotchi evolves into them with very good care. Sometimes it's also based on skill points; Kuribotchi and KuchiTamatchi are more likely to evolve into Kometchi and Ura Young Yattatchi with high Spiritual points and three care mistakes. Anyway, I hope I helped

Hello there once again guys and girls. This status update isn't about Tamagotchi (for once) lol. It's just a friendly reminder. Well, let's get straight to the point. You have probably heard this like a thousand times, but try staying as safe as possible from COVID-19 at least until a vaccine is found and tested well enough. Pandemics like this ain't no joke. Follow your government's safety instructions and tips on how to stay relatively safe. It's better to be safe than sorry. You can check out World Health Organization's page for more info. https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019 Stay safe! Cheers, Alex.

I've faced similar before Don't be sneaky tho' - that never works and basically breaks down trust and friendship between partners or family members. I can only suggest doing something similar to what I used to do. Tell your husband that you want to buy the sanrio and pastel meets because they're good value right now. Tell him these tamas are something that you enjoy using and playing with - like a hobby. They make you happy, so you hope that he's okay with it even if he himself can't see the appeal. You could add that you know there's enough savings for "fun" stuff but you'd be happy to use your own money from your own account if he would prefer that option. A friendly, rational chat is usually the best approach. But that "guys... it's something that makes me happy and I can afford it; why is that not ok? Please don't make me feel down about it" is the best way to approach things.

So I found a tidbit of info where I worked searching items. I was surprised to see this with a sku and everything however it wasn't for sale or preorder, so I'm wondering if there will be a announcement soon. From what I saw it's only 2 colors which was lavender and turquoise. EDIT: So I believed it had a placement release date but I dont want to say too much since I'm not sure if its accurate.

Imatchi actually had a dream last night. Out of 8 generations, she is the first to have a dream. She dreamt that she was floating in the sky on her bed being showered with gifts Then she went back into her bed They are actually really cute when they sleep, I like how she takes her bow off for bed and puts it in the ground haha.

i've had this line for a few generations, but i figured i might as well start logging it i was very attached to the previous generation here, they are perfect, stunning but i found out about Tamagyaotchi and its little baby dinosaur fangs and claws and i knew i had to find someone with its genes and try for it so here we go i'm not too sure about that green, but my last generation changed colors spontaneously multiple times upon evolving, so i'm not too worried about it other than that, i'm really excited to see which genes he ends up with, since both sets are great really (and i can always try again if he doesn't end up with a Tamagyaotchi body) either way, Shizukutchi is always cute, so i'll cherish the next hour as always

So, I was just looking at the Tamagotchi Wiki page about battery sizes and found this image of a special Maxell CR2032 battery that has a photo of Mametchi etched on it. What I need to know is: Was this battery the one supplied with Japanese Tamagotchi Plus models in the box, or was it sold separately as a limited edition battery? If it's the former, then I'm glad because I might get a new Tamagotchi Keitai Akai from JapanYouWant and I think this battery would be a nice little "souvenir" in my Tamagotchi collection.

The Wal-Mart listing said that there is only 1 new location, when the Fantasy has 3 new locations, so there may be a difference. I would not trust that info too much because this is Wal-Mart, and who says that the information they have or were given is 100% accurate. They did not have the Initial Tamagotchi On, until recently, so I think that we need to wait for more information, and maybe even the official statement from Bandai on the 11th of June! I doubt they are going to give A LOT of details, but they will most likely show the other shell color and we can see what the face plate of the lavender one will look like. Listing Screenshot by Tama Mushroom, on Flickr Wal-Mart Screen Shot by Tama Mushroom, on Flickr In case you can't read the screen shot very easily: We aim to show you accurate product information. Works with all themes including Fairy, Magic and Wonder Garden. But in saying that there is only 1 new location (exclusive land), I think it is also worth noting that in the very first sentence it states that they have not verified the information in the description yet, therefore making it potentially stating errors. (I underlined the parts i was talking about for emphasis)

Hi and welcome to TamaTalk! I didn't have any dinosaur virtual pets myself as a youngster, but I knew others who did, so let's try to do some digging! To start off with, since the Tamagotchi is Bandai's virtual pet brand, and you're looking for a virtual pet that was created by another company, using this name might be a hindrance as "Tamagotchi" isn't a generic term. The fixed age for dying reminds me of the MGA VR Creatures line - those only have a very short lifespan of 9 days that doesn't vary by whether you got the good-care, middling-care, or bad-care adults, and they did come in a few shell formats (meaning that it's possible that a four-button version exists) and have a graphical style similar to the Dinopet, as you've shown. I have the MGA Penguin (they all play pretty much the same), so I do know these pets - did your dinosaur require you to fill up a discipline bar even if it had done nothing wrong? For four-button dinosaur pets, the first one that springs to mind for me is the Dino Baby (also sold as the MicroPet Baby Dino), which is a dinosaur pet that uses the Gyaoppi programming (Gyaoppi is basically a loose "family" of virtual pets that came from a number of manufacturers who licensed this programming for their products) - however, I don't know if this particular shell is similar enough to the Dinkie Dino to be a match, and I don't know of any Gyaoppi virtual pets with a short fixed lifespan. Another pet, which might match both the fixed lifespan and four-button Dinkie Dino-style shell, as well as the place that it was bought, is the Hitorikko Dinosaur, which this video shows was sold in Spain as the "Pocket Dino". Hitorikko pets were inspired by the Dinkie line, and have a fixed lifespan of 8 days (which is shorter than the Dinkies' 11 days). I hope that these ideas might help you to get further with your search!

I havent seen any updates since I've gone in. From what I can gather from the unofficial announcements and few images I have found is that its exactly the same as the meets version (fantasy) its price point 59.99usd. That's all the info I have found. I do recommend buying the magic or fairy on while you wait since places like target sell at a lower price point and folks will be reselling the moment they announce. All the variants are fun but if you do decide to wait it should be for sale at varying retailers. If I can get a list I'll post it here. TL;DR Price point that I saw on it is officially $59.99 USD There will be select retailers carrying. So far gamestop may be one. Exactly the same as its original; the fantasy meets. Just an english translation. It's due late July

Following on from the previous post, sending the items to another device just seemed to convert them into generic gift items like cakes. Not that exciting. In other news, I've been finding that the Ball Glitch seems to be one of the bizarrest glitches attainable, with some of the most wide-reaching effects. The most recent round of Ball Glitch effects I've experienced have revealed some things I hadn't even considered about glitch items. Remember how glitch items have strange effects when used in the items menu? And remember how the Ball Glitch can make food items appear in the items menu and items appear in the food menu? Well, as it turns out, if your character is an adult you can use the food items that end up in your items menu and they act in similar ways to glitch items. CRACKER - The Tamagotchi instantly crashed and the screen turned off TEA - Like AB, the screen continues showing the item as if that screen is the item animation CREAMY CAKE - A LOT like TEA and AB, but it momentarily hangs and then registers two button presses instead of one, causing it to instantly go onto the clock screen. While it's transferring to the clock screen you can see the "CREAMY CAKE" item screen but for some reason the character sprite is underneath the text too creating a bit of a mess. I'd create an image if I could but it was difficult to get a photo of because of how quickly it happened. I suppose the inverse of food behaving like glitch items is glitch items behaving as food. As it turns out, by some bizarre coincidence (perhaps it wasn't a coincidence and there's some item data even when you think it's all gone?) the Ball Glitch placed one of our glitch item friends in my treats menu. Specifically, "AIT", which as an item caused the device to crash. What happens when you eat it? A LOT HAPPENS, APPARENTLY - It's almost like getting a glimpse into a sprite sheet that the Tamagotchi draws its images from. Except, those sprites in the last frame... they don't look familiar to me. This'll need more investigation. One more interesting thing I found using this glitch? If your items list is more than 100 long, things get a bit weird. Like many fairly primitive programs, there's no "100s" place in the number - instead, the 10s place just keeps changing to symbols beyond 9. These were the first few characters I noticed in the 10s column after 9: A blank space, as if the number of the item was less than 10, A zero, something you definitely wouldn't normally see in this column, 1, 2, E, h, 5, 9, L, 8, 6, Another blank space. Notice a pattern in the symbols above? The 6 and the 9 might give it away - the E, h and L aren't actually letters, they're just the digits 3, 4 and 7 rotated by 180 degrees. For some reason that's the case of all the digits in this run of characters. As always I'll continue to give more updates as more unusual things happen. I feel like, since I'm starting to get items I wouldn't normally be able to, that I'm getting closer to one of those unused items I've been looking for.

Okay, sooo, Templechi grew up to become a wall-eyed adult with the same fashion problems as his forbears. I didn't get many pictures of him, here's one when he married Miss. Apple And finally FINALLY THE DRESS WAS NO MORE FINALLY GOT RID OF THE DRESS I HAD FROM GEN 1!!!! This little guy was called Cupar and that was one of the only pics I got of him. He was cute and wall-eyed like his dad. I liked him so much that I kept him for a few days before marrying him to a dog. This little one is named Lunachi, after Luna, my puppy that I will be picking up in 2 weeks time. Here's a pic of her :3 Until next time!

I doubt I'll experiment with the Friends. The battery type is entirely different so it doesn't really lend itself to the same effects that the CR batteries do - I'd think it'd be much harder to fiddle with the batteries in the same way you can on earlier models. The Friends ROM has been dumped anyway so I doubt there'd be much in the way of new content to find using these glitches. I'll instead be focusing on the V2 and maybe a little bit on the V1, too, if I can get it to do anything fun. The V1 had a bunch of cut features which, if they still exist in any form on the device, would make for some seriously interesting findings.

okay i was going to wait for basedtchi to marry before posting so that i would have a longer update, but i have not had any luck today yet, so i will update and then head back to the app basedchi's adult form! basically sugaritchi with the other tamagotchi's color and traits, which was not what i was trying for but still very cute now i am going to have to look for another Tamagyaotchi in the app (basedchi has gotten many likes so far), but in the meantime, i fired up mymeets i can't connect to mymeets since i use linux and my windows emulator doesn't support bluetooth (plus i kind of enjoy the hunt of looking for other tamagotchi with the traits i want to try for them), but i figured i could make a mockup of the end result i would like ideally so i don't forget what i'm looking for so, here is my frankentama's monster (except unlike that good for nothing deadbeat victor i would love and cherish this creature) colors are variable, though, i would like a shade of purple or blue but i can always change that with snacks if it comes out a different color anyway obviously most of these are genetics that are difficult to acquire, but i think that makes it kind of a fun challenge

Hi there and welcome to the community! The tamagotchi ON is the equivalent of the tamagotchi Meets (Japanese version) as you might know that the point of this newer version is to be bale to mix the characters which I personally think is amazing. The difference between Magical & Fairy is that the shell colors are diffrent and the characters/locations are also different depends on what version you want. If you look into this characters and locations chart you will be able to see all Meets versions, since you are asking about the Magical/Fairy ON you will only look into the first and second coloumns from left. (ON and Meets are identical the diffrence is that ON is in english, Meets is in Japanese and the Meets has now up to 6 diffrent versions while the ON so far is only two versions) I hope that was helpful and is not confusing!

The day begins with sadness. Bob is overcome with ennui. Surfing and pancakes do little to lift Bob's mood. She really is a diva. I decide to try this new-fangled smartphone app thingy, which I eventually manage to download and run (apparently it's not available within my country, thankfully there was a .apk online I could use,) and finally Bob is whizzing her way to the plaza. Well, this is nice! Very festive. Bobs there, Mr.Krabs is there, even Santa is there! I'm not really sure what i'm doing here, I check out the other cute characters walking around and play the game where you catch falling stuff. Santa even gave bob some hot cocoa! What a generous guy. I decide to go to the tama♥party... who doesn't love a party? Hey, there are dudes here? That's cool I guess. Wait... tama♥party... tama love party?? Is this... speed dating? Oh my god, santa is getting in on this?? What have I gotten poor innocent bob into? She's only 3 days old! AHHH NOOO If bob thinks santa is gonna be her sugar daddy she's got another thing coming. She really is high maintenance. Look at the nice guys she rejected! The app asks me if I'm ok with the two of them marrying. What would bob's poor parents in the old country think? Not today, santa. I take bob back out of the app. She seems a lot happier, but perhaps she's wondering about what could have been. Nevermind love, at least you have Mr. Krabs. Stay tuned for the continuing adventures of bob!

When your Tama is a baby you can't travel anywhere. You have to wait an hour or so for it to grow into its child stage and then you can visit other places. As for the other locations where is what you need to do to unlock all the areas. Tama Hotel: Travel anywhere (Park or Department Store found in the door icon on left hand side on the lower row that says "Explore my Town") during the child stage. Food Town: Eat Rice Omelet 5 times at the restaurant (found in the feeding icon shape like a fork and knife). Tama Farm: Visit Food Town several times (keep visiting and it will eventually unlock) Toy Land: You need to be at generation 2 or higher and have your Tama at the adult stage. Buy the drum accessory at the department store (found in the same door icon mentioned for the instructions of Tama Hotel) and put it on, the location will unlock. Starry Sky Lab: Requires your Tama to be generation 2 or more but they can be any stage (child, teen, adult). Go to the department store and buy the starry sky wall paper. Then go out to your yard at 7pm and the location will unlock. Beauty Salon: Change the color of your Tama 2 times. This can be done by feeding your Tama certain foods 5 times in a row. Such foods include stew or rice omelet from the restaurant or cabbage from Tama Farm. Magic Town/Fairy Land: Requires your Tama be generation 3 or higher. This depends on the version of your Tama. If you have a magic version buy the Magic wall paper at the department store then go to the yard at 7pm. If you have the fairy version buy the Dreamy wallpaper and go to the yard at 7am. Tama Sports Plaza: Play with the ball when the Tama is a child or older and connect your ON with two other ON units. You can bypass this a bit by having another ON. Take the ON you want to unlock the location on, and a spare ON. Connect the two together. Then reset the spare using the reset button on the back. Then connect the two again and the location will unlock on the ON you want to open the location on.

I'm fully expecting another licensed Tamagotchi Nano, for this one, but I'm fine with that. I just hope that this one makes it out of Japan, or at least isn't underproduced, which were both issues with the Eevee one.

Language of the tama doesn't matter at all, people have had Japanese tamas for years without knowing the language and they are just as fun as English ones since the text isn't very important anyway. You will understand everything maybe except for what the characters are saying but honestly even in English they aren't making much sense. However I suggest you to go with the ON JUST for one reason - the ON doesn't have the glitches Meets has, at least the most game breaking ones. I don't know what about the newer versions but the older versions of Meets are almost unplayable with the glitches.

These are not all from today, but over the past week! 2 Japanese Angels, a Morino (which I have wanted since I was little!!), A handpainted Japanese Angel, a Peacock v4.5 (my holy grail for the v4.5 along with the globe set which is being shipped to me!!!!), And some Tamagotchi sticker sheets and a Morino trading card #109, which is not only my fave Tama but my lucky number that I have a tattoo of 😊 I also have a Magic Purple On coming to my house this week which I'm so ezcited about! Been a Connection girl for like 15 years lol, excited to finally have a color tama

I think it’s interesting they added the diamond bit on top! Is it just a decoration or it has another purpose? The other thing is the characters are absolutely beautiful, so far I think they’re best looking for the Meets lineup (besides Snario of course ) Here’s also another leaked pic of what it appears to be changing the characters color by dipping them in chocolate? This seems interesting, can’t wait for more official information

You read that title right: one Cheesy running twenty tamas at once. No pausing. I've already spent money on batteries, so it's too late to back down. Here's what I've got: P2, Angel, Ocean, Osu & Mesu, Morino, Ocean, V1, V2, V3, Oden-kun, V5.5, V6, Tama Go, P's, Dream Town x 2, Mix, 20th anniversary Mini, whatever you call those original remakes, and an ON. If that doesn't add up to twenty then I typed something wrong. I'll be starting in the baby stage whether that means resuming from where I left off or resetting the tamagotchi. I've already resigned myself to the fact that the Ocean will be dead within an hour, but hey. Some of these will be extra fun since I haven't played with them before. I'm trying to figure out my set up/transportation method. I'm certainly going to be putting these in my work locker. My batteries should arrive on the second, then I just have to figure out when I'm off work.

I took some collection pics this morning (because my neighbor was out yelling at her dog again). I laid all of them out on my desk and unsurprisingly, they took up every inch of space. I only have two tamas running at the moment and while I was taking these pictures, they woke up . First here they are all boxed: And then unboxed: My pink Angelgotchi doesn't work and I included those two Poke walkers because they are psedo-Vpets (one of them is my brother's). That light pink, oblong device at the bottom is actually an Angel Scope and technically not a virtual pet but some kind of fortune telling machine. I mistakenly bought it thinking it was a virtual pet and for that reason I included it in the group shot (it is also made by Bandai). My full collection list is in my profile if anyone wants to know their names.

Nothing too new with Pukudebitchi, eight years old today. Straying off topic for one post, I had started a Tamagotchi On after reading Ginjirotchi_lover's log. I was kind of going for a Devil Mametchi type here. My first gen, I had perfect care with Mametchi and then found a girl who looked like Majoritchi to marry on the app. The teen version of the child is here, was looking pretty good for a Devil Mametchi with the Mametchi ears and black wings. Then the adult version surprised me and became Not sure where the green skin and red wings came from but I actually like it a lot. I think the two colors together really pop. This is my first family tree since this one is my generation two Her favorite toy is the magic set, fitting for a tamagotchi riding a broom lol my first experience with the tamagotchi on and am very happy with it so far

This afternoon and evening, I intentionally missed three calls for empty hungry hearts, and one call for empty happy hearts. I also missed a "for no reason" discipline call, but I'm not sure if that counts as a care mistake on the V4, as it doesn't on the V4.5. Other than the four-to-five care mistakes, I've been playing games with him regularly, made sure his weight stays fairly low, and made sure his skill point total doesn't stay too low. I have no idea which adult she will evolve into tomorrow. Though, I suspect she'll evolve into Ura Debatchi, if my experience is any indication...this is not the first time I've gotten an Ura Young Yattatchi's point total to be the same in more than one skill; in fact, it's the third time! This is the first time, though, that ALL skills are at the same level! STATS Name: ARI Training: 9/9 Skills: 52 Funny, 52 Gorgeous, 52 Spiritual Weight: 26 Pounds Age: 2 Years Generation: 23 Purple True Friends V2 I named Illy's son Luigi, and he evolved into Hitodetchi! Here he is, rolling around on the floor I was very confused as to why he evolved into Hitodetchi; normally she and Marutchi are normally only obtained if both of the parents were lower than tier two...but her mother was a Pyonchitchi, a tier one adult, and her father was a Tarakotchi, who is only a tier three adult. It's most confusing because in one instance I had a Memetchi, a tier two adult, marry a Butterflytchi, a tier three adult, and both of their children evolved into Kinakomotchi... As a Hitodetchi on an even generation, he can only evolve into HinoTamatchi or Propellertchi. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the latter. Too bad it wasn't an odd generation, or he'd evolve into Oniontchi or Nikatchi instead... Name: LUIGI Training: 4/9 Weight: 12 Pounds Age: 0 Years Generation: 6 Pink True Friends V2 No new updates. I just wanted to mention it I'll keep you all updated tomorrow on what teens Andre and Luigi evolve into. It's bound to be interesting if both of them evolve into HinoTamatchi... T
