      Happy Holidays, graficks!

  2. I may be a little biased - but some of the vintage P1 and P2s are great additions since this is where the craze all started. If you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend having one or two (or a dozen) to your collection. Have fun!
  3. I was once a part of this group and they are a great group of people over there. I would imagine the group is closed mostly in part to moderation tactics and protecting member privacy - and of course - to help avoid spam and inappropriate posts since Tamagotchi collectors greatly vary in age. That being said, thanks for sharing those links! They are great resources to aid in Keter's quest in finding all the P1/P2 shell designs - which are my absolute favourite btw!

  10. Setting up my new iMac today. What a beauty!

  11. Personally, I'm really excited about a "retro" styled Tamagotchi app. I'm practically glued to my iPhone because of work anyway...so it makes it extremely convenient (and fun!) to have an official Tamagotchi with me all the time. Don't get me wrong, nothing can replace the original experience - and nor do I think BanDai is aiming to do that. But with demographic that Tamagotchi L.I.F.E is marketing towards, most of the people (and by people I mean girls) will be carrying smart phones. So it makes sense in my eyes. It's a cheap and efficient way to get a Tamagotchi back in the hands of mainstream consumers as well. This is the evolution of Tamagotchi in North America. We love our iPods, iPhones, Android devices, etc...and from a consumer sales perspectives, people are spending A LOT of money on apps so it works from a profit perspective as well. I'm embracing this change. I won't ever use the app as a complete replacement for the experience of running a Tamagotchi, but the app fits my lifestyle much better than the original..and so again, I welcome this change. Let's be thankful that we have had the opportunity to buy the physical version of Tamagotchi to play with, to connect with, to log about, to add to our collection. Those are great memories that will last forever. And so with this change, lets be open to what BanDai has in store for us. Perhaps they will port a full colour version for us in the future (similar to gameplay on the ID L's and P's). Who knows? iOS and Android are amazing platforms to deliver these kinds of experiences to many people quickly and cheaply. My two cents

  13. Glad you found them! And thanks for the link TamaTamatchi - very helpful. Off-topic, but I thought I would mention a little helpful tip. If you find that you've posted something, like a question, and you've found the answer right away, you can click the little "Edit" button at the bottom right of your previous post. This will allow you to edit your original post up to 24 hours after you create it. This helps refrain from double posting and it keeps our forums clean. So I'll close this topic since the question has been answered. Thanks!
  14. Jason is a very reliable seller within the Tamagotchi and eBay community. I think because of the amount of items he currently sells, I'm sure it would generate a TON of email from his customers. I would assume that he's just very busy with life and his work, but because of his reputation I don't think anyone has anything to worry about. On a side note, I've ordered almost 100 Tamas from Jason and he's usually shipped out the package the day of purchase or the day after. Perhaps he is out of town, busy with work, or has personal things that need attending to. These long delays for shipping are very unusual for him.
  15. I think it would be good if we could keep all Tamagotchi P's related discussion over here for now: http://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/182023-tamagotchi-ps-another-new-tamagotchi-in-japan/page__st__240#entry3199295 That topic is already very active with discussion ranging from people making preorders to hands-on videos. I'm going to close this topic to avoid duplicate discussion. Thanks for understanding! *topic closed*
  16. Interesting! Thanks for posting this. Yes, please be aware that Stefan and TamaTalk are not liable for any damage to your Tamagotchi that may result from this mod. If you decide to try this, you do so at your own risk. Looks like good results, though!

  19. I've had great experiences with both HLJ and CDJapan. In my experience, the customer service with HLJ has been very dependable and friendly. Also, their orders ship quickly and arrive almost just as fast (I live in Canada).
  20. Feeling stiff and sore today. Somebody smashed the backend of my vehicle while waiting at the stoplight. On the bright side, at least I wasn't the person who drove into the light pole!

Oh my, hope it wasn't too bad.

  21. Are you able to post a picture of your Tama? It's possible this could be an Asian Pacific V4...but I'm unsure. Usually fake Tamagotchi's don't emulate gameplay of official Tamagotchis, just the shell design. Usually the gameplay of fakes are very distinguishable against official releases...and the gameplay is usually very poor in comparison. I'm curious to see! Also, do you still have the packaging? That could help us better identify your Tamagotchi in question.
  22. *Topic moved to 'Help for New Tamagotchi Pet Owners'* Hi kewlgal5, Please be remember to look where you're posting a topic before you post it. You posted this in a section completely unrelated to seeking help so if I didn't move this topic, nobody would have been able to help you. I've also edited your topic title to reflect what kind of help you're looking for. Generally it's a good idea to include some more specific keywords in your topic title so users can quickly gauge what your topic is about. Thanks for your cooperation.
