  1. I agree, but I do think the Connection series is more well remembered and beloved than people might think. SO many people in my school had Connections growing up. Almost all of my friends, even outside of school, had one at one point. While not as popular as the originals, they were very popular.
  2. Oh wow! That’s almost a definitely sign that at least something is happening. The “perhaps” and winky face give much away.
  3. that’s a very good observation. he’s also a little different than the purely cartoon and anime style Mametchi that is sometimes used. very TamaTown-esque
  4. it is! thank you, i appreciate it! i clearly don’t post on here often 😆
  5. I can't figure out how else to insert it. I tried to do it through Imagur link but that's not working either for some reason.
  6. Should we get our hopes up for a Connection Re-release given these tweets from the official Tamagotchi USA Twitter account?
  7. Actually, the batteries bulge out so much that I can’t entirely close the back. The screen is very dim, and the buttons are also hard to press. Then again, it was used also. Not sure I’ll keep running it because of this, but it’s definitely something cool to have!
  8. I just got it to start up a couple hours ago and noticed it was duck themed! Also, I can read some Japanese and I know the characters on the instruction manual too, and it came with this V pet, so I just assumed it had to be a Tamagotchi! Thanks for your help!
  9. I have a green vintage Tamagotchi that I got when I was in Japan. For the life of me, I can't figure out what it is. EDIT: found a shareable photo link of the Tamagotchi, so here we go!
  10. Hello! Can someone give me a detailed guide on the different options when connecting to a Mix station?
  11. Does the EnWarehouse for Entama/Uratama/etc. work on Mac? If so, I cannot seem to figure out how to run it.
  12. With the current nostalgia resurgence for the 90s and even early 2000s, there is no way they die out any time soon. In my opinion anyway.
  13. I like the idea of the M!x v2 being brought to the United States, because I think the "mixing" feature would draw customers. Maybe they could combine this with some nostalgic factor as well, because I think that would help them sell. Although, if it is only marketed toward young kids and they are made all girly like in Japan I doubt that they would do very well. One thing I miss about the Connections are the unisex aspect of all of them. All of my friends in elementary and middle school had Tamagotchis, because they were never marketed toward one specific demographic. It is beyond me why they decided to completely go 100% girly instead of keeping their neutral appeal like they used to.
  14. Very cool! I hope something like this happens. I just think Bandai needs to do more than just released an app. I had Tamagotchi Forever for literally like 1 day then deleted it. Just not the same. I haven't heard much buzz about it either so it must not have connected with audiences very well? I don't know.
