  1. You are absolutely right! I can't believe I forgot that they made How To Train Your Dragon! Great observation!!
  2. I almost chose illumination as well even though I'm not particularly a fan of any of their movies. In the end I went with DreamWorks mainly because I think their animation style would suit Tamagotchi and the characters best. I think more of the lines of the animation style of Up! The large, dramatic facial features would suit Tamagotchi's best in my opinion! Great poll! I'm interested to see the results in a couple days!
  3. I probably already know the answer... but can an ID L and a 4U+ connect in any way?

  4. Yay! My V6 Mametchi just got married with a Sebiretchi! I cant wait to see what the baby turns out to be!

Yay! I love getting my Tamagotchis married. :D The V6 marriage is actually my favorite.

    2. Donivan2009

yes... its very exciting! The anticipation in finding out what character the baby is going to be is killing me! LOL

  5. I am in the same boat as you. I am planning on rewarding myself for all my hard work over the past couple years and I want to buy a new Tama to add to my already enormous collection. I really want a color one and since there are no color Tamagotchis available in English, I'm considering between the 4U+ or the ID L. I too am nervous about it being only in Japanese, but everyone Ive talked to says it's simple to figure out with all the readily available guides. Still I can't help but be a little apprehensive. I've pretty much decided to buy one, and I am currently looking at a seller on Amazon that allows for a money back return. Return shipping will need to be paid of course, but at least I won't be out all of the money in case it just doesn't work out. But until Banzai gets with the program and decides to start releasing them in the USA again, it's our only option if you want it bad enough. And I do! Good luck my friend, and let us know how it works out for you!
  6. Does anyone know why the v4.5 are selling for such a high price on amazon and ebay? I was browsing around and all of the 4.5's I saw were selling for $100+ dollars!! Why?

I don't need one as I have 6 of them already. I just noticed them. But I have yet to see another v4.5 in the color of my favorite one. It is black with orange and yellow flames all over it! Maybe its a very rare one?? One can only hope!

I have the black V4.5 covered in fire.

Its my favorite design so far on a Tama!

  7. Whats the newest Tama available? Is it the Tamagotchi Friends??

    1. MarshyMellow

The newest one is Tamagotchi Friends: Dream Town.

  8. Did you used to drink a lot of water when playing with your tama's? This usually happens when you condition yourself to associate things with each other. There must have been a time when you either drank tap water, or used tap water at some point while either playing with your tama's or even thinking about them. It happens to me a lot. A lot of people experience the same thing with smells. A certain smell can take you back to a certain time or place, or make you think of a person. Its all conditioning. It can be done with any of the five senses. It pretty fascinating really.
  9. What do you think is better? The ID L, or a 4U+?

ID L, because it has more characters and stuff and is overall a lot more fun.

  10. Oh... Boo! I played on toma town a few times back in the day. I just don't remember the Destiny Star! I hate that they took it down! Thanks for your help though!
  11. After a restful nights sleep, I woke up excited to play with both Homie and Dupie. But I was a little disappointed to see that they were still sleeping! I wish I could have a tama that was on my sleep schedule for once! After a couple hours, Homie finally woke up! I immediately picked him up and did all the normal things, like feeding him and cleaning him up. We played several music games, and before I knew it his music skills had increased substantially! Tone: 28 Rhythm: 16 Original: 10 I'm excited to see if he will become a famous music star some day! **beep**beep** Dupie finally woke up! And he seems to be in a bad mood! Crying and crying, so I started to feed him. He only had one empty heart so he couldn't be THAT hungry! I feed him some cereal, but he was still crying! What could he possibly want?? He's fully happy too! I decided to try to play a game with him before I put him in time-out, but as I suspected, he refused! So I put him in time out! Babies can be such a pain sometime!! *BEEP BEEP BEEP***BEEP BEEP BEEP** I knew that sound all too well!!! I snapped up Homie (music Star) to see him evolve!! My fingers were crossed, hoping that I had taken good care of him! ~~~~ Ta Da... Homie is know a Kuribotchi! Just what I was aiming for! Once Dupie was in a better mood, we all played games together throughout the day! I kept expecting Dupie to evolve at some point today, just because in my experience they usually evolve into toddlers on the first day, but he never did. Oh well... there's always tomorrow!
  12. So two days ago, I decided to start two of my Tamagotchis from scratch. One of them is a v4.5 and the other a Music Star. Since I am new to TamaTalk, I thought it would be cool to share their journey as they grow, evolve and have babies. I plan on keeping the log going for all future generations as long as possible. Not only because I think it's kinda cool to share my journey and experience with the community, but also for my own memories! Because I didnt start this log until today, and i reset my tama's two days ago, the first couple posts will be from memory. It might not get interesting until I can catch up and post things as they happen. Also, i wont be writing it in a "script" form, like I see many other people doing. I love reading the script style logs, but I'm just not good at that sort of thing. Instead, this will be more like a journal of my experiences and the life of my two tama's! So, without further adieu, here we go! I reset both Tama's on 4/5/2016 to kick off our hopefully, long journey! It was exciting to see the new eggs and I was anticipating their hatching! It didn't take long for my Music Star to hatch! Only about 30 seconds or so, and I had a handsome baby boy. As always, it took me quite a while to decide on a name, but when I did, I punched in each letter slowly. Sounding it out as I entered it; H -- O -- M -- I -- E--. For some reason this name just fit. He began hopping around the screen as all babies do, waiting for his first meal. I quickly fed him 4 servings of baby food. He was starving I guess Also on the screen was his two favorite items. A guitar as his instrument of choice, and a shiny new spaceship! I also played two rounds of "Sound Block" with him while I passed the time, waiting for the V4.5 to hatch. What seemed like decades, I heard the all to familiar beeping coming from the v4.5. I quickly swiped it up[[ off the table to see the egg crack open. Another bouncing baby boy! This time it didn't take long at all to decide on his name, as I had several minutes to decide on it while I was waiting. Dupie! Just like I did the other one, I quickly gave him some food. Three servings of cereal, and a scone is all it took and he was full. For the next few minutes and throughout the day, I took turns playing games, feeding and bathing them both. Babies are a lot of work, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Shaping and molding what I hope to be two well adjusted and disciplined Tama's! With the 1st generation up and running on both devices, so begins the journey of Homie and Dupie. What awaits them in the future? Who will they become and who will they meet. Only time will tell, and I hope you will take this journey with us.
  13. Hey guys, I'm not really NEW to Tamagotchi, as I am a long time collector since my original tamagotchi when i was 13. Today I have over 60 Tamagotchis. I just recently joined the forum and i've learned so much about them that I never knew. I was looking at a music star growth chart, and it has a picture of a "Dreamitchi" off to the side. It doesn't really explain if this is a character I can get, or if it's just a "visitor" or where it comes from. Does anyone know? I would love to have one of my tama's evolve into him cause I've never seen him or gotten him before. I attached a link to the photo of the growth chart i'm referring to. I posted the picture on my business website cause' I couldn't get my google drive to work for some reason, so just ignore all the other stuff. Thanks for your help cause' I haven't had much luck searching for it.
  14. Im thinking about ordering a 4U+ or maybe an ID L, but in the Japanese version of course. I really wish they were in english :(

    1. Flare.exe

The Japanese is kind of confusing at first, but it's easy to figure out after a little bit. Especially since there are a lot of guides on the iD L and 4U.

    2. Donivan2009

Yea, ive looked at several of the guides. It seems much more complex than what im used to, but I dont have much of a choice i guess :)

    3. Igel-Fullmetal

I'd recommend the 4u+. It's low maintenance and easy to understand.

  15. Oh man! I missed it I just joined today. Im not sure why i never joined before, I have a huge tamagotchi collection. Maybe ill start a group hatch myself sometime soon!
