    aaaaah i was obsessed with those games! i remember i couldn't solve most of those stupid puzzles. i loved virtual families too!

    They were a lot of fun though!
    Solving the puzzles made the ending so worth it, yknow?

    Honestly, I'm still tempted to go back and buy 'em on Steam. 👀

    Yes!

    Yes!  But its Laptop´s friendly!

    Thanks for the heads up!!

    My poor laptop always overheats when I play Sims 2, so to hear that Life Stories is laptop friendly is pretty great!
    I probably won't be able to play it though, since I have so many Sims games anyway! But thank you so much for telling me regardless!!

    Ooh, really?
    That's pretty cool!

    Is Sims Stories the one you have rn?
    It's kind of like Sims 2, right?

    LOL
    yeah, I love Sims too!
    It's a huge part of my childhood, and I go back to it every now and then. =w=

  5. I loooove animation of all kinds!

    But hm... A favorite cartoon... One of my favorites has been Over The Garden Wall, for quite some time now!
    I also love Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder,  and Steven Universe.

    And as for anime — Death Note and Monster are definitely at the top of my list!!
    I loved Madoka, Sakamichi no Apollon, and Soul Eater as well!

    I finished the first one, and I think I got close to finishing the second one! That's it really, I was pretty bad at it and had to look up walkthroughs to get anywhere

    Omgg!
    I only ever finished the first game, so I'd probably be the same with the walkthroughs— owo;

    I MEAN, AS LONG AS YOU'RE HAVING FUN, NOBODY CAN BLAME YOU! :lol:

    I used to play Virtual Villagers a lot!! I haven't played in a long time but it's a lot of fun!

    ;w; 💕 !!
    Did you ever finish any of the games?

    Honestly I think I only finished Yoosung's route, from what I remember, and I think I didn't even get the best ending? I really need to replay the game one day, at least one different route, and then probably read up on the other ones. :x

    Awwww noo ;w; !!

    When you have that week + to spare, just use a guide to get the best ending, and then read everything else— AHAHA

    I tried playing Virtual Villagers, but.... everyone kept dying lol. It was on my iPad but unfortunately I think the series was removed from the App Store now.

    o h n o —
    Yeaaah, they were always kind of a pain to take care of if you didn't periodically check up on 'em.

    But that sucks ;w;
    I played it on the PC eons ago, but I think the sequels are still available in the App Store?
    Have no idea if they're just demos or not though.

    Oh man I’ve never actually played it I mean I tried it once but like. Doesn’t it involve like a level of commitment where you have to pick up the phone calls at specific times, idk I just remember trying to call yoosung or whoever the blonde boyo is but he was asleep lmfao

    It sounds super interesting tho and I know it must be popular with good reason, I just can’t make time for it oof

    Yeah, it's actually a lot of commitment!! :"D
    If you don't wanna mess up your sleeping schedule, just Wiki the routes or something tbh —

    Like Jhud, I also set up alarms to open the 3AM chats, and always woke up for the 6AM/8AM chats too. I was exhausted throughout the day, and it was just pure madness at that point HAHA;;
    I managed to finish all the routes though— I'm just trying to complete everyone's albums at this point.

    But overall, it's still really fun!
    Personally, I was really immersed in the story and the characters. It felt real during some moments, and it was a great experience!

    Yeah, it does require commitment. I'd actually like, set alarms to not miss the chats and stuff. It is pretty interesting. But I haven't finished all the routes.

    Ooh!
    Which routes have you finished? ;w;

  12. I can't be the only one who spent hours obsessing over Last Day of Work's Virtual Villagers series!!
    Or maybe Last Day of Work's other games like Fish Tycoon? Or Virtual Families?

    Fish Tycoon and Virtual Villagers were definitely the ones that really reinforced my love for simulations [excluding the obvious Sims games, which also made a huge impact on my childhood], and why I'm still so hooked onto even something like virtual pets.

    I know it's kind of silly, but encountering Last Day of Work's games in the Steam Store, I just couldn't contain my excitement. It really brought me back. ^_^

    Considering we all love Tamagotchi, I wanted to know what other simulation games did everybody else like? If you did at all?
    Can anyone else relate to missing Virtual Villagers? Any stories?

  13. Hello!
    I was just wondering if there was anyone else who's started, or have plans to participate in Camp this month?

    I've personally been too shy to really move anywhere with NaNoWriMo, and just stalled it all of last year. 😭 But, I've been taking writing a little more seriously these days, and I think this kind of discipline is good for me.
    Anyone else in the same boat? ;w; /

    To those who have participated in [Camp] NaNoWriMo* in the past, I would love to hear your experiences!

    *NaNoWriMo is shortened for National Novel Writing Month, where you dedicate all of November to writing a novel with a target of 50,000 words. Camp NaNoWriMo is essentially the same, but during the months of April and July, where I believe the targets are a bit more flexible because it's you who gets to decide how long or short the novel will be.
    Just for those who aren't sure what it is! / Are interested and want to know a little bit more!

  14. Ooh, I use to listen to a lot of P!ATD when I was a bit younger~

    I got into the band back when I Write Sins Not Tragedies was big! [I believe it was big; I remember hearing it a lot...] I go back every now and then since a coworker of mine is still super into everything P!ATD.

    But I still really like The Ballad of Mono Lisa! ^_^

  15. Finished I Want To Eat Your Pancreas, but haven't gotten around to the 9 Lives one.

    Instead, a friend of mine gifted me Love Me Not by M.J. Arlidge, and I've been slowly going through that.  =w= And at the same time, another friend and I are reading Lolita by Nabokov together! [That one's a bit... On the weird side, but it's written beautifully, so it's a huge surprise!]

    You can always play it on your PC, it's an old game anyway.

    You're absolutely right!

    Rule of Rose is really expensive to purchase as a physical copy anyway. 😅

  17. Aah, I also finally picked up a couple of books since my last post!

    I'm reading I Want To Eat Your Pancres by Yoru Sumino! It's still a recent purchase, but so far it's pretty interesting. Just from the beginning, I could tell it was going to be a sad one, so I've been prepping myself for an emotional ending.

    I also bought The Nine Lives of Alexander Baddenfield! Heard it was a pretty dark story about a kid who commits suicide over and over, due to obtaining the 9 lives of his cat and making a swap/trade. The art in the book was pretty to look at, and it sounded cool!
