  1. Is there any way of taking my tamagochi mix facplate off without opening the whole thing?
  2. Hello, Tama Fans! Just wanted to know if anyone knows where I can find a blank template for tamagotchi p's faceplate so I could personalize it and print it out in picture paper to personalize my P's!
  3. Hi everyone, Sorry if this post does not belong here, I wasn't sure where to post (tips and tricks or whats on your mind). Anyway, I was looking for a tamagotchi template to make some custom faceplates for my 4u, and couldn't find one. If there is already, then just ignore this post . If not, what I came up with might be interesting for someone else . I can't be more grateful to carleesi for sharing her technique to remove the silver paint on the original faceplate ! How it looks on my tama (showing off my brand new home ) : Yes, I made a white one, thought it could be a fun activity to do with the kids ! What the template looks like (it's so easy to just drop anything you like in the shell) : It is available in 3 formats : - psd for those using photoshop : https://www.dropbox.com/s/lyvn6q1pk5z1vq6/tama-4U-faceplate.psd?dl=0 - xcf for those using gimp : https://www.dropbox.com/s/4db95cvy5ajonlj/tama-4U-faceplate.xcf?dl=0 - studio3 for the lucky owners of a silhouette studio, that really does all the job... : https://www.dropbox.com/s/b0zryxwl0v6cg4v/tama-4u-faceplate.studio3?dl=0 Hope it can help !
  4. If you haven't heard yet, the front part of the tamagotchi m!x can be removed! I saw this image on awagumo's instagram: Also while browsing Tamagotchi Collectors I saw that a user posted templates for m!x faceplates. Please note that this isn't my original work, I'm just sharing it with you guys. The poster said that the correct width for this template is roughly 6 centimeters.
  5. Hello! So before I begin, yes, you can remove the face plate from your Tamagotchi Friends: Dream Town. But it's not like the Tama-go, though. To remove it, you'll need to use a card that's like a credit-card, or you can use my method, using a flat-head screwdriver. *Though I don't recommend using a screwdriver!* Blank template: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/PIcAE6lbBSk2kWrgat1Po26TbNC3bSHn3rqgJZyFRWw=w202-h220-no "What's with the hearts?" The hearts are there to show you where the logo is going to be showing on the plastic cover. Now, LET THE CUSTOM FACE PLATE POST COMMENCE! *The Image is in link form because for some reason the image is too big*
  6. I'm just interested to see how other people decorate their tamas...faceplates, cozies, charms, paint, cradles, etc. It can be any tama of any type. Let's see what your tamas are wearing! (My 4U is wearing the faceplate in my avatar. I haven't posted here for many years and am having trouble finding out how to upload pictures.)
  7. Hi guys! I just recently got my Tamagotchi Dream Town, and recently joined TamaTalk! I noticed fingerprints on the screen of my Tama when I opened it, and at first thought it was because I had touched it. They wouldn't come off after cleaning it though, and I realized that they were UNDER the screen. I also wanted to change the faceplate and so here's a little explanation/ tutorial for if you have a similar issue or want to change your faceplate too! Here is my Tamagotichi - you can see the fingerprints on the screen, on the top and bottom. (be careful to avoid scratches) To remove the plastic plate, I used a thin needle tool and slipped it under the plate from the corner of the screen (here its a dentist tool - but any thin object will do. Some people have been successful with their fingernails or cards, but those were a bit too thick for me). After getting the tool underneath, apply a little bit of pressure to lift the BOTTOM of the plate up - the top has two small tabs that keep the plate in place and you want to make sure not to break these off! After removing the plate and the paper faceplate, you see four small screws - remove them and you can open up the Tamagotchi. Be careful when lifting off the top section, the three buttons are all loose in there so they may fall out if you pull it off too quickly. When replacing the top screen, put the buttons back in their little slots and hold it upside down and push the backing back on. I had to wipe off the inside of the top screen to remove the fingerprints. (no more smudges!!) And there you have it!! Replace the screws and plates and you're ready to go! To make the customized face plates I traced the one that came with my tamagotchi and messed around with some markers and stickers - I'll make better ones later but for now this will do!
  8. Hey guys! Once my 4U Plus arrives next week, I want to make faceplates. I am so excited, I have been waiting to get one for like a year now. Anyways, I was wondering what you call the tiny items you put in the resin? That sounds so stupid but I can't think of what they'd be called. Is it just 3d nail art decorations? Or what? Thanks in advance for your help!
  9. Is it just me, or do dust particles easily get trapped underneath the clear Faceplate on the Tamagotchi P's? It seems to collect between the screen and the buttons the most. It's rather annoying, really - though is this a general design flaw, or did I just end up particularly unlucky with mine...?
  10. Can someone please make me a tamago faceplate with this picture on it http://www.downloadost.com/ost/big-hetalia-axis-powers-sound-world-ost.jpg Thank you to whoever does If someone does
  11. Hey Tama fans! I made a few custom faceplates for you to print out and use (be careful when cutting)! I will be making more soon! ( When printing, use the following size dimensions: 169 x 208 for 96 DPI )
