  1. Hi everyone, Sorry if this post does not belong here, I wasn't sure where to post (tips and tricks or whats on your mind). Anyway, I was looking for a tamagotchi template to make some custom faceplates for my 4u, and couldn't find one. If there is already, then just ignore this post . If not, what I came up with might be interesting for someone else . I can't be more grateful to carleesi for sharing her technique to remove the silver paint on the original faceplate ! How it looks on my tama (showing off my brand new home ) : Yes, I made a white one, thought it could be a fun activity to do with the kids ! What the template looks like (it's so easy to just drop anything you like in the shell) : It is available in 3 formats : - psd for those using photoshop : https://www.dropbox.com/s/lyvn6q1pk5z1vq6/tama-4U-faceplate.psd?dl=0 - xcf for those using gimp : https://www.dropbox.com/s/4db95cvy5ajonlj/tama-4U-faceplate.xcf?dl=0 - studio3 for the lucky owners of a silhouette studio, that really does all the job... : https://www.dropbox.com/s/b0zryxwl0v6cg4v/tama-4u-faceplate.studio3?dl=0 Hope it can help !
  2. Hello! I was browsing TaoBao and found these weird custom 4U faceplates for sale? http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.227.6jWdRq&id=41971937733&ns=1&abbucket=4#detail http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.220.6jWdRq&id=41924655587&ns=1&abbucket=4#detail But how do you they made them? Did they somehow scrape the silver paint off a faceplate they bought, cut out their own picture, and stuck it to the back? But how did they stick it to the back without ruining the paper? I thought glue would make the paper go all mushy or something. I tried using Google translate on the description to see how they made them, but this is what it said:" "This is a hedgehog mom handmade 4u replace the panel, is convenient for hemp faithful own diy crunching brains out, not Bandai original panel." Can someone work out how the person made these faceplates? I'd like to try making my own.
  3. Hey Tama fans! I made a few custom faceplates for you to print out and use (be careful when cutting)! I will be making more soon! ( When printing, use the following size dimensions: 169 x 208 for 96 DPI )
