Hello, everybody! I just recently bought what I THOUGHT was a T-Rex Dino virtual pet off of Ebay. The packaging, physical shell, etc. ALL say T-Rex Dino, but when I opened it up and activated the pet, it seems mine has the guts for the Godzilla pet instead! This is not what I wanted at all!!! This is upsetting to me, because I specifically wanted the T-Rex Dino pet that I remember from my childhood. I could cry! Here is a picture of the one I bought (still in the package at the time of the photo):https://instagram.com/p/5BEkNbyqRm/(from my own Instagram) Here is a video from another person of what I WANTED, and what I thought I bought: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJFkzybIh0E As you can see, mine LOOKS like the correct T-Rex dino, nowhere on the packaging implies that it is the Godzilla version. Is this a common mix-up with MGA Entertainment? Does anybody else have experience with this happening? Is there any hope for me finding the ACTUAL T-Rex Dino pet from MGA, or is it a guessing game with these things?
I've been doing some research on MGA pets recently and wanted to ask, since there isn't a lot of info on them: Is their growth pattern linear (same thing every time, like Nano)? Or does it change, depending on care? Like I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the Godzilla pet is linear so that you always got something that looks like Godzilla in the end, but that the Kitty would vary. Mostly I want to know about the T-Rex Dino and the Godzilla pet! T-Rex sounds like it MIGHT, but having T-Rex in the title doesn't sound like they're giving it much room to vary. So uh, MGA Godzilla and T-Rex Dino! Linear growth or various?
Is it just me, or are the MGA pets kinda boring? I just got the MGA Bunny and had it running for about... 7 hours now? The Hungry and Happiness bars barely decay, and it only beeped once in all that time because it pooped. (I guess this one lets you know when nature called, not a lot of pets don't at all.) discipline is decaying faster than Hungry or Happiness. I don't know, you'd think as a baby it'd be very needy but the thing seems more like an accessory than anything, I guess since it's in a case with a lid. (A basket with a bunny eating carrots on it.) It's also super loud, beeping with each bite of food and everything. Anyone else have experience with these pets? What do you guys think? Do they evolve or get more interesting with time?
