  1. So I found a tidbit of info where I worked searching items. I was surprised to see this with a sku and everything however it wasn't for sale or preorder, so I'm wondering if there will be a announcement soon. From what I saw it's only 2 colors which was lavender and turquoise. EDIT: So I believed it had a placement release date but I dont want to say too much since I'm not sure if its accurate.
  2. I had originally felt burned by the Tamagotchi Meets when I first imported it, and I put it aside in irritation without going beyond the first generation. Recently, after enjoying so many Tamagotchi Meets/On logs around here, I felt that it was worth giving it another chance, so I grabbed some good batteries and started over, and soon grew to enjoy the device for what it is. The colour Tamagotchis represent a separate evolutionary line - their structure and gameplay are clearly descended from the Tamagotchi Game Boy game from 1997 - and I find that it helps to keep this in mind. That said, I still prefer the simpler Tamagotchis like the vintage devices and their re-releases, and the more recent Mini and Nano-based releases, as they're less time-consuming. So here I am, starting a new log. I have previously found standard logging to be too time-consuming, so my focus here will be pictures of the parents and of their fully-grown offspring. For now, I'll be running my pink Fairy Version Meets, but I'm keeping an eye out to see if any more versions are localised, as I would like to support the English-language On releases, too. I have no interest in using the mobile app, so that won't be featured here, and I'll be skipping the baby, toddler, and teen stages, as I'm most interested in the final results of each pairing. I may also include pictures of new additions to my collection every now and then, such as the upcoming Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Tamagotchi, but I most likely won't be logging those. So, without further ado, here's why this log is titled as it is: My first generation Tamagotchi was a male Gozarutchi. I changed his colour to pale yellow by feeding him five lemon pies at the restaurant, and shortly after that I had him marry Lovelitchi. They made a very cute couple! I'm actually not the biggest fan of Lovelitchi (I find her to be a bit on the generic-cutesy side), but it was obvious that the two's offspring would grow up to look adorable, and sure enough, they did; Here's a picture showing Gozarutchi and Lovelitchi, along with their twin daughters, Lemonitchi and Pietchi - so named because of how recent Gozarutchi's dessert-induced colour-change had been at the time. They both turned out exactly how I expected them to, which was fun. They also both inherited their father's pale yellow colour, even though, at birth, Lemonitchi was yellow and Pietchi was white. The only difference between them as adults is that Lemonitchi's bag is white, and Pietchi's is yellow. I'm planning to have Lemonitchi marry Kikitchi sometime tomorrow, so my next update will be once the next generation is fully grown. See you then!
  3. I have two tamagotchi ons coming in soon, is there any tips I should know before I start one? I'm really excited and just want to get an idea of what to expect! Thanks!! :]
  4. I really love the way my Tama evolved! It inspired me to draw a piece with them and their dog(?), Frost.
  5. I heard on other tamagotchi websites that Tama ON's have rare pets on the Wondergarden version. This was a thing back in the Connection v3.5 days and for good reason. But looking at the full evo chart for the ON there was no new/rare character, so is this a hoax?
  6. I decided after seeing all these logs I should really keep up with it! I take pictures as often as I can when my tama evolves or marries but I would rather start fresh. Today my little Aitichi evolved and shes is so adorable. Here is a picture of her. Shes a bit bratty honestly and needs alot of attention. Before her I had a family of 6 generations, I got sick unfortunately and she died while I was taking care of my serve cold. And as a background of that tree, it was cursed. Those eyes just would never go, and the hat was almost impossible to get rid of. And before she died, I dropped it on concrete at work, my bag decided enough was enough and just dropped it. Its a shame the family tree image is too large for here but another time I'll post it all together for everyone to see.
  7. Welp, I'm back. It's been many years since I joined Tamatalk (under a different name) and several since I last visited. Aside from a brief stint with a Tamagotchi Gudetama, I haven't been a tama mama in quite some time, but I recently received a Magic Tamagotchi On as a gift and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I especially love the large variety of tamas and the excitement of waiting to see what they look like as they grow. Evolution happens so quickly with the Tamagotchi On, I thought keeping a log would be a great way to remember all of my babies. I got my Tama-On June 25th and I'm now on generation 3. I have just a few photos from the first two generations so as soon as I remember how to post photos properly, I'll do a single post for each generation and go from there. Yay!
  8. I'm starting a new tama log today! Here's a picture of the tama: https://imgur.com/a/Dm2FVIg
  9. Rest in Peace my latest devil, Kuridebitchi. Had a lot of fun with that little guy, almost a full month lol. I'm going to put away the devil for a bit and play more with the Tamagotchi On since I'm having a lot of fun with it. At first, I was trying to recreate a DevilMametchi on my On, but wasn't very successful so I decided to move away from that and be more open-minded. The On is a lot more fun if you just go with the flow and see what happens, there is always a pleasant surprise to be had Here's my second generation family tree with the DevilMametchi attempts This is my current generation, seven I had just married my previous girl to Kuromametchi and then I got this little guy...who was considerate enough to leave all you viewers a nice little surprise on the floor He seemed pretty upset by it, but then he moved on with his day don't worry, I cleaned it up and fed him after the second picture haha One thing I like most about the On is that you really don't know what you're gonna get. The red hair of this guy popped up out of nowhere, the last time there was red in the family tree was generation two. It went dormant, then came back again to my surprise, which I really like. His name is Mitatchi, he should be growing into adult sometime tomorrow and I'm eager to see what happens
  10. Firstly thank you for reading my Log ! Please let me know if you would like me to do anything particular ect. Today I decided to run the tamagotchi on magic version. I continued on from where i was last time because i remembered that i had adults so i can still have the generation link. So i never know what to do about naming the tama because its not as easy to know whether its a girl or boy , and even though i used the mymeets app i still cant remember - woops ! It has now called to me for the second dose of medication so hopefully it will be evolving pretty soon ! I will update when it evolves !
  11. Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum but have admired the tama community from afar both here and on the facebook communities for some time. I thought it would be fun to document my experience with my first modern vpet, I hope you all won't mind! I don't really know too much about tamas, I haven't read the guides so everything is pretty new to me. I have a modest collection of the retro tamas (two 1st gen and one angelgotchi,) and this christmas was gifted a tamagotchi ON by my partner. It's pretty crazy how much "stuff" there is to do and how good it all looks compared to the tamas from when I was a kid! I hatched my tama a few days ago, so I'm starting my log from then and filling in as I go along. Sorry if I get names wrong for things. Please feel free to send me tips or let me know if you think I'm missing anything!
  12. Hello, I just ordered my Tamagotchi On, and I am psyched to receive it! I got the Magic Purple one! I have been doing quite a good amount of research, and reading about it, and it sounds like it eats through batteries, so I was going to go the rechargeable batteries route. I found the manual online, and it states in the 2nd Page, under Caution, 4th tick: "If you use rechargeable batteries please use only the appropriate nickel-hydrogen rechargeable batteries, and be sure to observe the recharger instructions regarding how to recharge." Can someone clarify and help on what are 'appropriate nickel-hydrogen rechargeable batteries'? Searching around, I can only find rechargeable nickel–metal hydride (NiMH) batteries, NOT nickel-hydrogen :/ I don't want to be doing damage to my Tamagotchi On. The NiMH rechargeable batteries I have are Maxday (pic attached) or link: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/N-IAAOSwEUVZYfmM/s-l1600.jpg Btw, the batteries I have state 2700mah, just want to make sure that's safe, cause from what I've been reading, other people's batteries are usually in the 750 - 900 mah range :/ Thanks for any help and clarifications! Really looking forward to use my Tamagotchi On!! :D
  13. Hello ladies and gentlemen! I thought it’s time to talk about the issues that most tamagotchi lovers are dealing with, specifically talking about the technical problems with the Meets and ON. I’ve seen a ridiculous amount of people complaning all over social media, about their “bugged” toys, and sadly we haven’t heard anything from Bandai regarding those issues. Two common issues so far that I’ve seen, the first one is that your tamagtochi is not growing up (also known as Peter Pan Syndrome), The other one is the device resets itself (personally happened to me) and that happened when I married a tamagotchi through the official app. Not sure if it was because the other tama was carrying a corrupted data. That takes us now to MyMeets app users, it will force people to be cautious and be careful who they marry their tamas with. All of these issues are killing the experience and the joy to play with our favorite toy! I would like to know what you guys think and if there’s anything we could do to make Bandai aware of these issues and if there’s a way that we could avoid them?
  14. I tried to search on google but I couldn't find anything that listed the actual name of the pet. I got him from leaving the ribbon out in the yard. I love how he is the same colour as my tama! (Also It took me way too long to figure out how to compress this image on mobile)
  15. Alright, so I've played the Catching Flowers game on the Tamagotchi App many, many times and have not once gotten 1000+ points to get the rare item. This led me to wonder, is it even possible? I've searched online to see if anyone else has achieved this, and those that have have said that it took them 20+ tries. I decided to try a bit for myself to see how the points add up, and if theres any correlation or if the game is just rigged up until a certain point. I only played the game 17 times, as it took up to 22 minutes and I had other things I had to do. Anyways, this chart shows my findings for 17 games in a row. Points to note: Out of 17 games, only 2 had 1000+ points available to collect. There is an increase in score from games 1-3 and 10-12. Rocks don't seem to lower the amount of flowers available to catch in the next game. On game 15, the amount of flowers caught don't add up to 590, even though that is the score I received in the end. It seems the game glitched, as I hit a rock and caught a Cherry Blossom flower at the same time. So what does any of this mean? Most likely, nothing. It seems that scores fluctuate, getting 1000+ points is rare, and the game is ultimately random. Sadly, this is unfair. The game is 100% chance, which means that some players could NEVER get the rare item. There is a similar case for the other game, Tamagotchi Restaurant. Although this game isn't random, you have to have lightning precision and reflexes. Maybe I'm just a bad player, but I play this game religiously to farm GP and I still haven't gotten 1000+ points yet. Ultimately I think it would be best if there was an update where the games were more reasonable? Here's what I'm thinking: Tamagotchi Restaurant: Have specific characters ask for specific dishes to make it more predictable and therefore easier to select to rack up 1000+ points. OR Since the characters loop back around after completing their orders, have them just repeat their orders to make it more predictable. Make all dishes appear from the beginning. Catching Flowers: Always have flowers with a combined total of 1000+ points appear. OR Have each game's total amount of points increase until 1000+ points are available. I'd say games 1-5 increase in points until game 5 has 1000+ points available. If you hit a rock, the increase in points per game should restart. Welp, what does everyone else think? I'd love to hear your thoughts! (Video of my 17-game run for evidence!)
  16. This is a modern tamagotchi group hatch which starts on the 1st of April 2020. The versions which can join are versions from the past four years. Tamagotchi M!x (Melody, Spacy, Sanrio, Anniversary) Tamagotchi Meets (Magical, Fairy, Pastel, Sanrio, Fantasy, Sweets) Tamagotchi On (Magical, Fairy) Let me know who's joining and I'll make the log thread on the day I'll be entering with my Magical On. Love you all, Rose
  17. My friend recently bought a Tamagotchi, who lives across the country from me, and we wanted to marry our Tamagotchis together through the app when the time came. How do we do that? Also, is my Tamagotchi only present on my profile when I'm connected to it? There's a little Tamagotchi device with a ? mark on it when I'm not connected. My friend and I have already added each other, so how do we marry our Tamagotchis that are adults?
  18. I recently downloaded the Tamagotchi On app after ordering my second Tamagotchi On and started playing it last night. I noticed that you can now "like" other people's Tamagotchi? While I had a default Tamagotchi (since I wasn't connecting my other On at the moment), it looked like I was gaining likes in real time from other players. Are the Tamagotchis really there or are they just generated from players that having signed in? How do I know if they're bots? Have the games changed at all?
  19. Hey, Tama Lovers!!! My name is Gina! I have been part of this forum for a while! Content removed - topics promoting personal links are not allowed. Sorry! --Penguin-keeper
  20. So I’ve been messing around with it’s the the Tama farm, and of course I starts my little farm in the my farm section. Been three days, still have no idea what it’s purpose is but I gotta big ol’ tree now XD can someone explain how it works? And if it’s worth it’s to wait another day and see if more progress happens?
  21. Hey, so, stupid question, but my 1gen Tama had twins, and I named them Creamitchi and Puddingitchi. When they were babies I couldn’t tell them apart, but now they’re kiddos and I honestly still don’t know who is who. I can’t include a photo, but looking at the family tree, the yellow one is in the center and the white one is off to the side on the right, and below it says “Creamitchi-Puddinitchi”. Does that mean the yellow one is Creamitchi and the white is puddingitchi?
  22. I know, I know, I post on here so often, but it’s the only place I can get answers so I hope y’all don’t mind. So I’m on my second generation, and I have a tamagotchi On. For backstory, in my first generation, the baby hatched at bedtime, so obviously it was awake for one hour and then as soon as it evolved, BAM it was bedtime. For the next couple days, as soon as it woke up, it evolved which was cool, but I didn’t want that happening with the new baby because I wanted to be awake to witness it evolving. So, the day comes and generation 2 arrives at about 8:30 in the morning, and evolves at 9:30. That all happened yesterday. In my time today, as of writing this, it’s 11:10 AM. Shouldn’t it have evolved again by now?? It says it’s only a day old and I don’t know if that’s right or not. Also I should note that I have never paused it. Any answers would be really appreciated.
  23. So I was reading over my manual that came with my Tamagotchi On, and it says that on the Tamagotchi it can save up to 16 generations, and then the oldest will be deleted as it continues, which makes sense. It also says, that using the app you can store up to 999 generations, which is a lot but hey, you never know right?😂 Anyway, my question was how can I start saving the generations on the app now? Every time my Tama leaves the app and I go to check the family tree in my profile, it just has an empty tamagotchi device with a question mark in the middle.
  24. Just ordered my new Tamagotchi ON today, (I got fairy blue!💙) and I don’t wanna mess anything up... XD Anybody have any advice that they wish they knew when they first got their Tamagotchi ON? Also I think I heard something about unlocking an area that required to meet up with another Tamagotchi ON, is that true? Cause it’ll really stick if I have to buy another. They aren’t cheap!!
  25. Hello, so I’ve had my tamagotchi On for 2 days, and I have Hanbunkotchi (1st gen, female teenager) and her happiness has been at the light blue color, which is about halfway since she’s was a toddler, or a child. Is it supposed to be like this until it’s an adult? Because otherwise I don’t know what to do to bring it up more.
