  1. Hello Everyone I’ve recently seen some things about a ROM Test, and I’d quite like to have a go. Except, I’m pretty sure I have a V1 or 2. I’m looking into getting another Connection Model (That I don’t quite know the Type yet) and I’d quite like to Connect them. Is it Risky? Your obviously going to be messing around with the Tamagotchi. So, if I have a used one, or basically any one, it will still work? I’m kind of hesitant about performing it before I do some research, because I got it for £50. Codes/Numbers? I’ve seen some People on here talk about the Numbers, supposed to tell you what Version you have, so what numbers apply to the V1/2? (I Can’t Upload Pictures, But if I find a Picture I’ll link it)
  2. Hey guys! So, a very dear friend of mine is moving to Scotland at the end of the school year, and I want to get her a very special gift to commemorate our 15 years of friendship. Seeing as we first bonded over Tamagotchi at recess in first grade, and either of us never really stopped collecting, I'm going to get her a Tamagotchi M!x !!! She doesn't have one of those yet, but I have no idea what version to get. I would ask but I REALLY want it to be a surprise. I have three versions and think they're all fantastic. It would be a huge help if you could choose which Tamagotchi M!x version is your favourite, and even add a little comment why! Is it the characters? The features? The pretty shell? Personally, I'm partial to the Dream M!x, because I love Dream Town and all its inhabitants and Yume Kira Dream is my guilty pleasure show, yes I watch children's anime okay shhhhh but I'd love to hear what you think!
  3. This is something think about a lot - how I like features from different tamas and wish they all existed in the same version. At the moment, my Ideal Tamagotchi would have the shape of the v1 and v2, the wide screen of the v5/v6, the "you have to buy food in order to survive" of the v6, the school/jobs of the v4 and 4.5, and the babysitter feature that I think the 4U has (I only have connections). And a mix of all the characters across the versions. That's all I can think of at the moment. What features would you mix?
  4. so i'm still pretty new to tamagotchi and i was wondering how you can tell what version of tamagotchi you have currently i have a tamagotchi connection from 2004. i'm still not sure how to tell what version it is.
  5. I'm sure this has been done before but I'm very curious to see which generations tend to be favorites! Please comment why you picked what you did as well! I tried including everything but comment if I'm missing anything! Thank you
  6. I am waiting for my ID L to arrive in the mail and I was wondering, what versions are it compatible with? Would I be able to connect to an older version like the ID, or a newer version like the 4U? Also, what other versions are compatible with each other, just for curiosity's sake?
  7. What kind of features must a Tamagotchi have in order for you to think it's great? A color screen? Lots of features? Your favorite characters? I appreciate all Tamagotchis, but my favorites have to have the following: Characters I love: One of the biggest reasons why I love Tamagotchi is so I can have my favorite, cute characters by my side and look after them <3 Versions like Oceangotchi are really cool but they don't have any of my favorite characters, so they aren't my favorite ;3; Good games: I think mini-games are really important on a Tamagotchi. They are for making your Tamagotchi happy, reducing their weight, and getting Gotchi Points. So a Tamagotchi should have fun games; the more games, the better! Basically, as long as a Tamagotchi has lots of cute characters and fun mini-games, it's awesome How about you?
  8. The ultimate question (this topic is to determine which tamagotchi I shall get next).
  9. What is your favorite Tamagotchi connection? Please vote! My favorite is the Music Star (version 6) because it has all the best characters and is full of features. There's always something to do and it's so entertaining to make a band and collect music awards! I collected all the awards and then my Music Star reset itself. My least favorite is Version 1. I love the jump game and the animations but it dies on me far too often for my liking.
  10. NONE OF THEM. I love them all. From the connections and Tama-Go to the iD L, they are all pure awesomeness. But I guess out of all the versions I have, the one I don't love as much as the others is probably the P2, you know. It's kinda boring... It doesn't have any of the fun features that the other versions have, like buying toys from the shops and stuff. And I don't care for the characters on it, and it doesn't have the familiar, fun beeps of the other versions. I remember I used to dislike the Version 5 because the items don't do the fun stuff they do on the connexions, the games hardly give you any money, and it doesn't have weight, age, and training but now I really like the V5 and I guess that's all for now. But don't say anything offensive!
  11. Have you ever lost a battery cover for your tamagotchi. Now your upset because Its exposed to the elements more. Well as This replacement part isn't a total fix but It will hold the cover on and it will stay. Okay Now for what you'll need: Gift Card(Preferably to a place you like, and you might want it to be the same color as your tamagotchi) Scissors Permenent Marker loose velcrow(Or a screw) screw driver(only if you replace velcrow with the screw) Warning you might want to get a couple of these its not easy. Okay Now I'm gonna tell you how to get started.(Now mine is alreaady done so I am going to show you how to do it but I'm not exactly gonna do it myself, however do do get pictures of mine at the end. Also if you dont have screws or velcrow this cover will still stay on by itself for a while, not too long though.) 1. Take the gift card and find an area of it that would look coolest on your tamagotchi. 2. Next hold the end of the gift card up to your tamagotchi and draw lines where the end of the cover would go. 3. Now cut down these line al the way to the end remember you can always cut more but not less if you feel you have to cut over a little bit more. Now If you want indentations on the side lower(Especially if your not using velcrow Cut off more than needed) 4. Cut along the lines so it dooesn't stick out of your tamagotchi too much. 5. Next its time to cut the tabs if your not msking these tabs skip to next step otherwise refer to picture.(tip use the marker to know where the tabs are) just cutt a centimeter off where the tabs need to be and there you go two tabs. 6. Next Stick the velcrow accodring to the picture and your done.(Now for the screw I have no picture because I have not tried it but use the marker to find out where the screw hole is make a hole there and screw in the screw) voila enjoy your new back
