i have a v4 and it got married today,,

but the matchmaker brought a CHILD to marry.!!!!

is that a glitch?

That's unusual.

But you didn't mention the name of the child character it brought... so it is possible that you have mistaken a Young Kuchipatchi for an Adult Kuchipatchi (for example):
