You probably missed it as gumbum209 said but you could still make it partners with another tama (it has to be an oldie as well of the opposite sex) and youll get a secret character when it is supposed to change into an adult. The character is the OYAJITCHI.

Jappyx gave me this cheat to that character and it works.

Make a male oldie and a female oldie fall in love and have a baby.

When the oldies leave their babies will change into the oyajitchi 1 hour after birth!!!
