Well....it may not be the best way but these are just some way's to help you to not get a fake tama .

Well this is what you can do .

1:If you think a tamagotchi looks fake these are what to do

1:ask the shopkeepr(i don't think they will help but anyway)if it is a fake.

2:look for the bandai sign.

3:Sometimes you can tell by the packaging.

4ost a pictures to members of TT and they will tell you if it's a fake or not

5:Have a close examining of the tamagotchi.

It is also fake if it has unusual features on that version which are not real. Tamagotchis are only V4 right now - anything above that version is a fake.
