A Tamagotchi Plus is a Japanese Tamagotchi Connection. That looks like a v1. In the UK, they're called Connextions, in the U.S they're Connections, and in Japan and other Asian countries I believe they're called Tamagotchi Plus.

 
Why are they so expensive if they're just the Japanese connection?

 
I'd say that it's just one really over-priced item. ;) I hope nobody buys it when it costs so much.

 
The Tamagotchi Plus is a Japanese version of the version 2. It's just a different name. :mellow:

 
That particular TamaPlus is a limited edition. That is why it is so expensive.

It is the original V1 from Japan, just a special design. :D

 
But still no need to pay almost 200 for it. At least I think so. Of course a real tamagothci collector or something might want to, but personaly, even though I consider myself to be tamagotchi addicted, wouldn't buy a tama for that much.
