what are the souviniers for? they dont do much.. because if you choose B they dont do anything like the items do.. so i was wondering what they do.

 
They are just to collect and look at.

 
You collect them on TamaTown, usually. When you usually get proper souveniers from a different county and country, they are mostly something precious, aren't they? Something you can keep for a long time? Well, it's like that with Tamagotchis.

Let me warn you as well, when you move on to your next generation, you lose them all! Ahh! I know.

No, on V4 you lose all except for the travel souvenirs, the ones from the king and the movie posters.
