Emo? like screamo?

Erm is MCR emo? Because if it is I listen to that

Daphne Loves Derby. They are really good.

Oh and about my chem. They don't like being called emo but people still think they are. All to his own I suppose.

emo = emotional

it's a genre of music

I know but some people refer Emo music as in Screamo, anyway I like MCR.

My Chemical Romance is not definitely not emo. Nor is The Used, Panic at the Disco, Taking Back Sunday, or Underoath. They're just alternative rock (except for Underoath, which is metal.)

It's hard to define emo these days, it's more of a fashion trend and an insult than anything...most emo bands from the original movement broke up, so a lot of stuff is misinterpreted as being emo.

I hope emo one day just gets wiped out.

Because all songs are emotional. Even rap.

Although, the MAD Tv Tickle Me Emo Parody will always have a special place in my heart.

^^ Emo used to be...a music genre...till it became a stereotype.

Yeah. Most of those bands are far from emo.

Emo really isn't a genre of music. - there are so many bands that are like that it's almost impossible to list them all.

And, yes, it does seem everything is emo lately.
