if its in kind of like a bubble, then that means you need to go to the icon on the far bottom left. That will give you three options to choose from to make them happy.

If you pushed the C button 2 times before it came up then that's what happens before they do their dance to show off.

it does that because you probably pressed "C" button when you were at the main screen
