It's probably still an adult - just a bad care one. Check the family type in the main status screen, then read this topic: FamiTama / V5 transformation, tips on how to change characters

Maybe it turned into a petite family from extreme hunger?

( Ninja famiy: EXTREME NEGLECTED HAPINESS)

( Large family: EXTREME OVERFEED)

( Petite family: EXTREME HUNGER )

How do you find out what kind of family your tama is?

How do you know it is a bad-care one, will they all be ninja's?

and if it is overfeed they are really humongous right?
