but when i click on the bond icon they dont do anything except just sit there with a ? over thir head

When your tamagotchi want's to bond, they will make a strange beep, and either have a question mark in a speech bubble above their heads, or a music note in a speech bubble above their head. Then, you click the bond icon. Choose 1 out of the tree items and press A. Then, they will play with it.

hmm... for a non mixed family, u marry tamas from the same family type.
example:
smart family with smart family
cheerful family with cheerful family
and so on.
and when u get ur family plaque, remember when u bond, always use the options:
smart 1st option
cheerful 2nd option
easygoing 3rd option
tamas bond every even hour.
so, set the time to 9.59 11.59 1.59 3.59 and 5.59
remember that its not always that ur tamas could bond.
