Your elevated feelings, the vibe I always felt

Your love is how I’ve dealt

With the pain of losing what felt like light

Or the stars on the billowing night

I saw you and knew it was true,

We were together and always knew what to do

Then you saw her and just couldn’t wait

You said goodbye to me and made your great escape…
