Fun fact time!!

 

The origin of the word Tamagotchi:

 

In japanese, Tamago means egg, (hence the egg shape, also)

 

They slapped a 'tchi' on the end because they do it to everything (not a bad thing)

 

Also, Ichigo means strawberry, as in Ichigotchi. ;)

 

Just something to think about. ;)

 
i think that's so cute! i already new that, but thats helpful to new tama owners who don't know :lol:

 
Thanks for telling us, though this is pretty much old news for me. ^^;;

 

But I'm sure other people would like to know. ^^

 

..and I think they add 'tchi' at the end of everything because it's supposed to make it sound cute. ^-^
