I have a 4.5 and I haven't gotten any codes or passwords.

you need to go on tamatown first, then the first souvenier you'll get is a passport. once you log out and type in the logout code you need to click the games icon on your tamagotchi. then click on password, type in the code it says on the computer and you've got it.
