I too needed a plastic scratch remover back in those days. You can find one at WalMart, they're around 10$-20$, 30$ tops. Next time your family heads to WalMart for some shopping, just check out all the plastic scratch removers they have, and find one that's right for you. I have the Novus plastic scratch remover, but I would not recommend it. It just leaves white stuff in the place between the screen and the egg cover. There is other options such as K-Mart, Sams Club and Costco, if WalMart is not available.

Basically any large store that carries a lot of stuff.
