I found this trick:
If you enter tamatown v3 by the name of matt, click the arcade BEFORE the welcome comes up. Then, click through the welcome fast. You should end up in the games. Pick up the windmill for the golden tamagotchi. Then click the claw game. When it's loading, it will take a long time; use this time to type in "anchovies" without the ""s. Then press enter. The welcome screen will show up again.
