One day i was playing with my tamagotchi, and all of a sudden it said rom-testing, and i didnt know what to do. And then the tamagotchi restarted. All my money and items are gone. How can i return back to normal? And how did this happen?

 
If you hold all three buttons (A, B and C) and press reset while holding those three buttons down, you'll go into ROM Testing mode and that will be treated as a full reset. You might have had a little water in your Tamagotchi or something that made the buttons go without you pressing them if you were just normally playing with your Tamagotchi.
