The Japanese Yen to USA Dollar exchange rate probably shifted a bit. Their costs are mostly in Japanese Yen, but the prices they list are in USA Dollars (or other local currency.) So when the Yen goes up (meaning the Dollar goes down), their costs go up (and their profit goes down.) To keep making profit they then need to raise the price they charge.
