I have a V4, Iris, and I want to see just how long she can live and I will let her become an oldie. To do this little “oldie project” properly, am I supposed to reset her for today to be Day One or do I continue logging about her as an adult because there’s no point in resetting her?

Just my opinion, but it's normal to record how old / how long you managed to keep a tama alive.

So I would count from day 1 (the baby stage) and see how many days you can keep her going.

Once you get to 99 days, it would be a good idea to log the date so that you can continue to count manually each day after her record stops turning over (max. 99 days recorded on most tamas).

Does that make sense?

Edit: Have you ever read the Blogagotchi log kept by Kyliesmum for her oldie Aaron? If not, I think you might find it interesting :ichigotchi:
