I just got a new tamagotchi (haven't had one in years) and looked down recently to see two other fellas in the back. My tama was facing them and I didn't know what was going on. When I pressed c, they disappeared and my tama resumed its adorable bouncing. Who were they???

They might be Christmas trees! Mine turns around and talks to some cute Christmas trees with faces.

 
What version was it?

Probably like one of those other stuff when tamagotchis brush their teeth and take a bath, and when you press c the resume to their bouncing. Not much of a probelm. Check the date and if the dates on december it should be the christmas trees like sailormoon said or it could be a snowman :)

 
Animations are different,on each tramagotchi.The V5,for example may talk to the fridge.V5 Celebrity's have there on little activitys for there family type.
