This isn't at all a copy of this topic

First of all, I'll get this clear that this isn't a copy of the post above. We're not talking about deaths. We're talking about memorys of 2009. What was the most shocking thing that happened that year?

Celebrity gossip? Family drama's? Scary things happening in your country?

Whatever the memorys are, as long as they happened in 2009, post them here!

*Memories

This year hasn't been the best with all the celebrities dieing. I've finally managed to get my grades where they belong in the A-B range for the first time in 3 years. I'm finally allowed my own computer.

So it was an alright year for me personally.

Lots of memories.

-The blonde things I did

-got a bunch of new friends

-Meeting some of my family that I didn't even know existed

-Discovered the Cheesecake Factory

-Discovered www.jellotime.com

-Got lots of new clothes

-Good grades

-Doing fantastic in karate and practicing

Yeah. Lots more. :mimitchi: I loved 2009. I hope 2010 will be the same but even better, and that 2010 won't go by as fast. I wanna stay a kid forever...

Hmm, let's see.

-I've made new friends

-Learnt how to [finally] get over a crush

-First boyfriend, thought I think it was a big waste of time

-My grades are all Bs. Slowly slipping.

-B for Science. Big improvement from last time.

-Cricket for Cap again :)

-I increased my batting strike rate. Very pround of that =D

-My drawing is pretty good now.

I can't think of anything else xD

I'm not sure if I'm ready for 2009 to be over. It was my year. So many things happened. I don't want to start all over. I want things to be the same.

I won a Provincial gold medal, number one in all of Ontario. I'm one of the very few freshman goaltenders that ever make the high school hockey team. I saw the band I've loved since I was seven playing right in front of me. I graduated from grade eight, and the kids I graduated with are amazing. We went on a trip to Camp Celtic, and I bonded with them more than I have over a year of school. I realised who my real friends are. I learned what music really means to me. I hung out with a friend I haven't seen in three years. I went to see my friend's hockey games, the friends I haven't seen in two years.

MICHAEL JACKSON.

just kidding. Sort of. I don't know...

I don't know, I don't really pay attention to that kind of thing. I started school again [long story behind it].

I made a few new friends. Not much happened.

2009 Has been the worst year EVER for me and everyone, here are the reasons why:

my cat died

i lost my pokemon diamond game (but that was on a school trip, instead i got platnuim)

No candy from the easter bunny

lost my simpsons game (it was crap anyway)

my old 2 year old laptop crashed

MY DOG CHEWED UP MY MICROPHONE!!! >.<

It's been an amazing year, at home, and at school. Absolutely a m a z i n g.

I can't go through all my memories, but I'll go through as many as possible.

Well, at school it was just incredible. I made the most awesome friends. I met Emily, she changed my life. And Gizza, Maurice, Stupid, Roadkill, and Baby Chicken, who is all by the way the same person. :) Teacher was kinda odd, but we all got used to him and everything went perfectly. It was also my last year of Primary School .. honestly couldnt've been any better. (L)

At home it's the same. Had awesome times with my Mum and my Brother.

And I got my own room this year. :) Cause my Brooo moved out. Haha.

This year = Best. Year. Ever.

Memorys should be "Memories"

But forget it. xDD

Here's mine:

My best friend and I fought for the first time. She doesn't want to talk with me. She called me on the telephone after school. I'm crying while I'm talking to her. The next day, she still doesn't want to talk with me but after school, we're already friends again. :)

I joined TamaTalk and I found some cool and amazing friends. :3

December 2009 - is the most amazing month for me.

Because...

1. I won $50 on the raffle in our school.

2. I got $2.50 dollars on the Christmas Party.

3. December 18 - It's my mom's Christmas party in their office. I came with my mom. I got $5.

4. We will go to Philippines on December 22. 8D

I think I'm very lucky in money while December. :)

December 18,2009 and December 22,2009 - The best day ever! :)

This year has been.. Way to much on my part.

I made lots of new friends but i also lost many old friends. New interests.

I also realised that some of the people in this world are so retarded and I can't let them get in my way.

I Have learned to speak my mind more and say what I'm thinking.

I have been trying so hard to keep from failing Pre algebra.\:

I have said lots of goodbyes this year.

And so many hellos.

It was the year of all years to say the least.

-Got a cell phone

-My cousin filed for divorce

-I started Junior High

-I figured out I'm not half as bad at playing clarinet as I thought.

-I have said alot of goodbyes and hellos (like above me)

-I figured out who my real friends are.

More later...

The bold one is the one I'm happiest about.

Good memories:

- I had my first kiss with an amazing girl.

- I made two new friends.

- I stopped acting weird because of my shyness.

- I started wearing less makeup, and was happier with how I look.

- I learned more about myself and other people.

Not so good memories:

- I had my heart broken by the girl I had my first kiss with.

- I still love her.

- I had a lot of fights.

- I made enemies.

- I was depressed a lot.

- I was mean to people who didn't deserve it.

- My friend (the girl I love) was out of the country quite a lot.

- My Grandma died before I got to meet her.

There you have it. My 2009 wasn't so great, but I'll make 2010 better

I'm not sure. I'd really have to look back.

Seemed like a normal year for me. xP First year of High School, if that counts.

This year has been really interesting.

I pierced my nose back in January.

I barely pulled myself through February through May.

I went through a lot of drama with my friends back in May, but we came out of it all stronger than before.

I transferred schools over summer break and made a lot of new, wonderful friends, but lost a lot of friends, as well.

I'm now closer than ever to my sister.

I upgraded my phone in July to an LG Rumor 2 with a keyboard.

I had my first meaningful kiss.

I got through a lot of trauma from a relationship in August, and came out stronger then, as well.

I turned 14 in August.

I've found a wonderful guy, who's best friend is now dating my best friend. :)

I went to my very first formal dance with said wonderful guy.

I actually grew a little taller. :D

I've found a lot of new interests in music.

I'm now more in touch with my nerdy side. :B

My aunt, uncle, and four cousins have moved into our house.

I redecorated my room for my birthday. :)

I'm closer with my family in general.

I've become Facehooked. Haha.

Too much can happen in one year to explain in one post. :)

This year has been awesome. :)

Seventh grade was my best year ever.

Summer vacation was amazing.

Eighth grade is looking up as well.

And Christmas is tomorrow!

Memories...

- Having my first REAL kiss

- Having alot of boyfriends, then realizing they were all mistakes.

- Got into major fights with my friends

- Made some new friends who I'll love forever (L)

- Got in trouble by the police for the first time :$

- Falling head over heels in love

- Getting my heartbroken by him.. TWICE.

- Watching my hamster slowly die... it was the hardest thing to watch, and I miss him.

- Went to see Jonas Brothes @ muchmusic and in concert.

- Saw Marianas Trench, The Latency, Everlea & Time Brings Change in concert.

- Amazing sleepovers with conversations I'll never forget

- Learning that if you love someone enough, you have to let them go.

- Having an amazing guy sing to me in front of the whole neighbourhood. Never forget that.

There's probably alot more that I just can't think of.

EDIT: Oh yes, how could I forget the most amazing moment in which we won One-Act Competition?
