Drawing help

Recommended Posts

When I draw a pic on paint, and want to save it as a GIF file, (so I can make it as an animation), paint says it will lose its color!

And when I saved it, my drawing turned out really ugly, like the color was nearlly gone!

Help! :D

Before you save the picture go to Edit - Select All.

Then right click your picture and copy.

Save your picture, and then when it is all a messed up colour, paste your picture and save again.

Sometimes this works perfectly, sometimes it changes the colour.

Good luck. (:

Well, the only thing where it won't lose its color is to save it as a .PNG. But I think there's a FireFox addon somewhere that lets you make animations with .PNG images, but I'm not sure.

But if you want to make animations you have to save it as GIF file :S

First, save your pictures as bmps. Then go download a program called Giffy. Google it, it's free (: then you can convert your bmps, and they won't lose their color (:

Save as .PNG preferably.

If you save as .gif you will lose colour

If you save as .jpg you will lose resolution

If you save as .png you barely lose any resolution if not none, and it doesn't occupy much spacewise.

If you save as -bmp or as .tif it will occupy more space

In any case, on Paint you can't actually make animated gifs - and you can use .png images and .jpg images in gif makers ^^ In fact, I think I actually have an animated .png (or .jpg or I don't know, just a non .gif) image. : )
