Small Moments

One moment you're here standing by me,

Together we're all smiles,

The next thing I know i'm dying,

You're gone from my lifestyle,

At first I believed you'd come back,

Then I hoped it was just a dream,

My hurt just was more highly stacked,

When all was just as it seemed,

I admit I thought you'd never be gone,

You made me see just who I was,

After oh so very long,

But it just wasn't enough,

Those small moments we shared together,

Will never happen again,

But I'll cherish them forever,

And hold you as my dearest friend

Mary-Sue

I wanted to be perfection,

As flawless as you,

I was headed in the wrong direction,

Following you Ms. Mary Sue

I desired to be unstoppable,

And as beautiful as you,

Turns out it isn't possible,

My lovely Mary Sue,

I longed to be the Queen B,

The leader, the bravest just like you,

I don't know what came over me,

My fearless Mary Sue

It took a few steps to see,

How my friends didn't like me as you,

I stopped trailing this path blindly,

So long, Perfect Mary Sue

I did. This was actually pretty good; there was no forced rhyming, and it was... well, really nice.

Limitless

Pushing down on a huge black mass,

Being flung up and away from here,

My heart pounds so very fast,

As I feel myself leaving the atmosphere,

My lips curl into a smile,

Tell me, have I gone insane?

I'm soaring miles and miles!

Is this all in my brain?

I grab a piece of cloud to bring,

as I go plummeting down,

I grin wider and start laughing,

Now I can see the ground!

Holding the cloud closely to keep it clean,

I fall more softly- wait no, i'm floating!

I land in the middle of my big trampoline,

This adventure was only mine for knowing.

Why so Cold?

What did I ever say to make you mad?

Or was it something i did?

What made you think i'm a jerk and just a fad?

'Cause you've just been makin' me feel wasted

What is your problem with me?

What did I ever do to you?

Why are you being so icy?

Oh, I don't have a clue.

You're being so c-c-c-c-cold,

I dunno what your doing it for

Why so c-c-c-c-cold?

Are you trying to make me hang my head some more?

I gotta grab my winter coat,

A ski hat maybe more,

'Cause I'm gettin off your boat,

What's all this coldness for?

I quite like this one.

It's seems quite fun.

Hush, my Dreamer.

I was there when you laid your head on my lap,

It was somewhere around twelve in the mornin',

Your deep blue eyes closed and you were taking a nap,

Ever since she'd left you you'd been moarnin',

And i'd been here to support you through all that,

A tear slid down your cheek,

And I wipe it away,

Even though you're fast asleep,

She still hurts you that way,

So hush my little dreamer,

I'll be here through the night,

It doesn't matter that she's gone,

She always used you anyways,
